Not true I don’t like people staring I find it rude … like your trying to be my parent or take charge of me and sometimes I’ll get aggressive thinking your looking at me the wrong way . I feel like the saying don’t stare at people is a good one. Just give them that glance every couple secs to acknowledge them is best and the rest should be observing the room . Always be aware of your surroundings and not focused on one thing … tunnel vision is for survival moments
Oftentimes you are correct but it depends on the culture, the context of the conversation and the situation. And I'm sure you're well aware of not all conversations are the same, not all cultures are the same. We should always keep this in mind when communicating with respect to others.
