Love the smile he had after every goal!
Exactly what I was thinking. Same smile, joy and happiness after every goal scored 😄
I miss watching him play.
Holy Mackinaw what a goal by MATS SUNDIN.
My all time hero 🥺😭🍁💙 god I miss watching him so much
I miss him! Definitely my favorite player of all time!
Captain Clutch Baby!!!!! Number Thirteen Mats Sundin!!!!!
Number 13 the Magic Man!
I watch this whole thing waiting to see GOAL 500 in OVERTIME for a GWG and most memorable moment for me and its not even there ..... :(
Literally my favorite goal of all time. How do they not show it.
Sundin was the greatest post-Cup Maple Leaf, and remains so today. None of these young guys today have his calm, mature, accountable attitude. And he was clutch. We under-appreciated him in Toronto, but ask any player of that era about how great he was and they'll tell you.
So many times when Sundin hit an amazing milestone... he scored a game-winning goal or a hat-trick. He was Toronto's Hero.
My Captain 🍁💙
How in the world did you not show his 500th goal vs Calgary? 500th goal, short-handed, overtime winner, hat-trick goal.... c'mon
And it was a clapper at the blue line!
seriously!!! delete this video you tools. i cant believe it lol.
First thing i thought of when the vid ended.
My buddy and I had both left home for the first time and had a bunch of guys over to our new house. I called "clapper from the blue line" when he had the puck at centre.
He snipes, place erupts, beer everywhere. One of my fav Leaf memories (not too many of those lol).
The video only goes up to Dec. 2 2003, so that's probably why.
I was waiting for that highlight... How could they leave THAT one out? Again, Sundin gets under-appreciated by the media, just like old times.
He was a truly incredible hockeyplayer and outstanding leader.
Game 1 OT winner against the Sens in 2001. Classic. I can still hear that “KLING” as it went in. And I still laugh at all the Sens fans and their inferiority complex, always trying to compare Alfredsson to the legend Sundin.
He has one of the most underrated clappers
Happy birthday to you Mats.
👉I was great hockey star and
big hockey legend🖐🖐🖐
What a player. Leader. Backhand.
leafs will never have another sundin in a long
That is why Mats is a GLOAT. Greatest Leaf of all Time.
God damn video brought a tear to my eye
Miss Mats Sundin!!
Its surprising how little he is brought up in any conversation about the leafs or hockey players in general.
He came and he went almost
he's the reason why i started playing hockey.
That clapped against Kipper in OT should be in here
One of the best Leafs in history. Don't @ me.
Sverige magic!
Leafs 🐐
I guess scoring his 500th goal in overtime isn’t good enough? It also happened to be a SHG too. And a hat trick goal. Guess that one didn’t check enough boxes for Sportsnet.
He's also the leader of the leafs' last half decade of Stanley cups win with 0.
Sorry , I want them to win someday in the future but I rather laugh for mow
Another big offensive star that couldn't deliver in the playoffs
A Leaf tradition for 50 years
It's a team sport genius
I rather have the black bars on the sides instead of the picture in picture to make it widescreen, rather distracting. C'mon man.
first world problems ftw
1967
Was that the last time you got Laid?
Absolutely the worst leaf captain of all time. He never won anything as a team. He was for himself every time he stepped on the ice. I have no repsect for him what so ever.
How one player can win as team?
Selanne is better than Sundin.
HA ! I DON'T THINK SO
