Oh girl you got me with the chowder. took hubby to olive garden and ordered zuppa and he said it was like dishwater. went home the next day and remade it into a thick soup and it was fantastic.

Love me a good traditional wild rice chicken soup/chowder. I prefer mine thick as well. This recipe looks incredible.
Up here in Minnesota, my Mom makes a beef wild rice “soup” which is even thicker than this, but she uses a can of nacho cheese sauce, and cream of mushroom/celery/chicken, or whatever kinds she has. Thins it down a bit at the end with milk if needed. It’s to die for, but not traditional by any means lol.

I like to add a little rice to thicken up some soups and turn them into "STOUPS" (stew/soup).

That was Better Than Bouillon. It’s basically concentrated chicken broth. I think the flavor is wayyyyyyy better than regular chicken broth. Can’t wait for you to make and enjoy it.
