- My mom and I just returned from a 10 night Eastern Caribbean journey on the Viking Sea! The West Indies Explorer itinerary took us to 9 Caribbean islands and we had a fabulous time. Today, I'm sharing our travel day to San Juan, PR, and our stateroom tour. We loved our deluxe stateroom with veranda! I hope you enjoy it.

Somehow I missed this when you posted it and my wife and I will be on Viking on January 3rd for a sailing around Spain. It was truly lovely you took your mom with you. I took my mom once. She slept until late morning everyday. Took her on a ATV ride excursion (she was the only senior citizen on this excursion), came back all dusty and muddy and all the other senior cruisers waiting for the bus going back to the ship were asking what happened to her--she had so much fun. Unfortunately, we found out 5 months later she already had terminal liver cancer. The silver lining was that neither she nor I knew at the time of that cruise.

Both the room and bathroom felt more like a hotel than a cruise ship! Very comfortable and yes we had a wonderful time!

Viking looks really really nice, I liked that there weren’t a thousand people in the atrium. Room looks very well designed. We were on the Celebrity Equinox a few years ago. It is a big ship with a small ship feel. We loved it! Can’t wait for the next videos!
It looked beautiful from the outside! And yes the ship never felt crowded and we never had to wait in line for anything which was lovely.🥰

Joyful Living with Jen Lefforge thank you for caring , I had to see a dr yesterday I now have a chest infection and have to take only what I can describe as horse tablet size ! Anyone who knows me knows I can gag on a pin prick tablet ! Dr looked at computer and said we don't see you very often I think they were about to archive me lol I'm still wiped out but the old fella is doing the run around for Xmas everyone I left till last will be a gift card your channel cheers me up no end though and your mum is a tonic . I have so much to share, Kelly, and I promise I'll get to all of that in the videos. There is so much to love about a smaller ship and I can tell you that I would not hesitate to do this as a solo traveler!

It’s hard to do a side by side because they only do longer itineraries but they are more than Disney but not by a lot.

Loved this vlog Jen :) have never been on a cruise so this is probably a silly question but is there no air con in the cabins? Just with you saying about the fan!
There absolutely is but I find I do better with some constant air circulation and they definitely don’t have ceiling fans in the rooms. But yes the air con worked great.

I believe so but always check with the cruise line if you have concerns!

Yes, you may adopt her! And as long as you give her lots of breaks and make sure she gets plenty of hot chocolate, she does great. We really did have an amazing adventure.

Unfortunately, no. They only allow 2 people per cabin on Viking.
I was so waiting to see that bathroom - I was wowed at how large it was and my husband audibly gasped with the heated floor lol!
