    Thank you. Your review has encouraged me to have it. Just got it and will make the review later.

      It will be interesting to compare the quality with the Ottomobile Supra. Ottomobile and GT Spirit are the same company.

    I have one,
    I find it sad that the black seemline in the middle of the body work is not straight and plunging slightly downwards from back to front. This detail is supposed to sit the whole bodywork high on it’s wheels like the rally car it was supposed to be. Also the coke-bottle design is a bit exagerated.
    Sits larger than the foliwing F40 which can’t be right.
    Sad because the feel of the model is top notch

    KK scale also makes one. It still seems to be readily available. I wonder if the differences are many.

      I suspect that there are a fair number of differences to the KK version, having watched the Rob's Model Cars videos on it. The first thing that leapt out at me was the excessive lip on the rear wheel rims from what I recall.

    Is the wheel arch problem only there on your model, or is it a problem on all examples of this model? Thanks!

      I imagine that it is like that on all examples of the model. I would class it as a problem with the shape of the mould.

    GT Spirit is a lottery: i saw a lot of people complain about paint issue and other stuff. For the price they want, to me, it's a big NO THANK YOU. Maybe they have one of the worst QC.

      Oh dear. I've owned three or four GT Spirit models, largely from their early days as a new brand by Otto, but the paint was never as bad as my two 12th scale Kyoshos (Countach LP400 and F40).

    Do you think the Timiya GTO is the best and most accurate one of all the GTO models regardless of scale?

    • @markporthouse
      @markporthouse  Před 2 lety

      That's a tricky one. The only other model that could compete is the Amalgam 1/18th scale car, but I've got a feeling that the Tamiya may be better than that. This is the Amalgam car:

    this one or kk ?

      Without doubt the GT Spirit. Much better than the KK in my opinion.
