  • This model was sent to me by KK Scale Models and retails for 69.95 Euros, so to me this is a budget model. So how does it stack up, how are the details and quality? Watch to find out.

    You’ve saved me again, mate! I was actually considering this!
    The skinny rear wheels and A pillar glue stains just kill it for me, even as a budget model.
    Another superb review, as usual.👌

    Certainly a good diecast model to practice modifications on. Widebody kit, wider wheels and tires, and imagination gone wild. I'm considering this very thing with this 288. The diecast tuning video of yours comes to mind for the new wheels and tires.

    Great review. I recently purchased a mint hot wheels elite 1:18 Ferrari 308 gts. Red with the targa top. Magnum P.I. That’s my unicorn.

    This is actually one very beautiful model and you will find it more acurate than Hotwheels' Elite model. GT Spirit's 288 is really nice.

  • @jtothepmusic
    @jtothepmusic Před 3 lety +2

    I think it looks pretty good - more accurate in my opinion than the Hot Wheels Elite (which was Bburago based) which got the rear wheels completely wrong.

    Good review as always. This model could be better if they have someone to point out the problem of the shape..

    Amazing video! I've recently gotten the GT Spirit 288. Somehow the HW Elite has much more wierd proportions.

    Thanks for great review Rob. I was considering to buy one. The model is not that bad... But there is something weird with the proportions, especially wheels...They look too big.

    @doblajesyalgomas3390 Před 3 lety +1

    The body, interiors and paint look quite good, but the wheels are kind huge for the era. Reminds me to Forza when you had the chance to increase the inches of the original rims

  • @ericsfishing

    I bought this model as well and one other thing that I noticed was the the KK model is too short at the rear of the car. I had posted a comparison photo a while back with the HWE, KK Scale and a full scale 288 and you can clearly see the discrepancies.

  • @scholesysscaleschematics2445

    Was gonna get the yellow one. Might pass and just get the yellow GT Spirit F40.

  • @maax8981
    @maax8981 Před 3 lety +2

    Not to sound too harsh, but the KK Scale models themselves are not too good. I mean, it's very good for the price, but in-person they look pretty bad. Although, I will give them that that they done an amazing job on the wheels and sometimes the headlights on most 60's Ferraris made by them.

    Unfortunately, there is also a big problem when compared to a real car. Wheels too big. On the model, they correspond to at least 20 ".
    I think that a fair evaluation of the model is a maximum of 4/10.
    I'm going to buy a GT Spirit myself.

    Ciao , i tuoi modelli di alta gamma molto probabilmente si rovineranno prima delle KK. Anche questo va detto. Hello, Your high-end models will most likely get ruined before the KKs. This too must be said. Bye bye
