Walk along Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, promenade from Montana Roja to Marina Rubicon

This is our first trip to Lanzarote and we loved it. Playa Blanca was great with a fantastic approx 5k walk from the Volcano to the Marina taking in the beaches and many restaurants and shops etc.
Plenty to see and do around this area or just sit by the wonderful Marina and wish you owned one of the yachts!
Day trips leave regularly for the nearby island of Lobos or across to Corralejo, at the north end of Fuertoventura.
All the usual water sports are available and the normal sea side stuff.

Heading there at the end of June. Will a lot of restaurants need a table reservation at that time of year?

Hi, you should be ok. Now when the schools break up, that’s a different matter!

Of course, if you find one you really like then it’s advisable to book. The area has plenty of restaurants. Don’t forget to have a look at the roads parallel to the front, there are some lovely places up there too.

I agree. I expected it to be hotter
