Hi Kevin. At 8 minutes when you were on the board walk, if you walked along as far as you could, turn right and up the concrete steps then left. Go along that road to the end and turn left, up the slope and you are at the steep zig zag that takes you onto another promenade. Fabulous views from there, especially looking back towards PDC. The promenade becomes a gravel path along the cliff top all the way to Puerto Calero. Lovely marina there with plenty of paces for food and drink. Recommend doing that next time.

lots of bars have live music here in old town and in pdc centre, its one of the best places for live music in Canaries I think.
I was going to book up for Tenerife but you've got me looking at Lanzarote now

Some good restaurants in the old town.
Emma’s Cantina is a lovely place to eat if you like Mexican type food. Been going there for years now, always good.

the harbour/old town is what I liked about it plus the fact I stayed in a cheap hotel at that side.
wish i could be out there in the sun, its snowing and mush wind in iceland now.

Hi Kevin just got back from first holiday in Lanzarote ans wasn't sure when booking but the hotel was in the Old Town and having watched your video before arriving I found my may around some amazing places in the Old Town and Harbour, the place has real character and is full of many very interesting people, and comes to life in the late afternoon and evening. Was much appeal than the Strip down in PDC....thx for the video was so helpful and lots great information.

Hi Kev.I.N just my type of spot, lots of people watching and the world doing nothing😎 as you said it was like Las Caletas in Tenerife vibe. Also I was good to see there was that hill though as the bottom prom walk was flatfish. I always check out property prices on Idealister on places you go and lots of interesting apartments and smaller complexes round the old town. So I'm glad to see that hill could be issue for me if I ever visited PB Cheers DougT in Mancs

Great Video, I have watched it a few times now. When my wife and I go to Puerto Del Carmen we stay in the old town. We will be there in a couple of weeks. You really did it justice. Well done again. PS. I don't know the pub with no windows that your dad was telling you about. I guess I have a little mission when we get there 😉.

Hi keV Puerto del Carmen old town was our last holiday pre covid it's nice to see the bars down the front especially la sirena just at the kids play park we used to sit everyday few beers people watch kids would be at the park happy days mate

you can't get lost there try the walk into Puerto Calearo ziz zag steps 45 minute walk you'll enjoy it .
Been drink in the Melting Pot for past 12 years every time we visit. Which was every year until the pandemic hit :-( . The best pint on the island for me as serves Estrella Galicia :-)

Scotch corner bar one of the best in PDC also try the roof top open air cinema bar in the day time fab views it's in the biosphere shopping centre just keep going up to the top 😁

I think it'll be the other company mate, I'm on 3 and they aren't introducing roaming charges until May. Until then you can continue to use your UK data and calls ect as normal in their roaming countries

thanks, my fav was Puerto Del Carmen but its just a long promenade with lots of bars and restaurants although you can walk either way to old town and pocilos. Playa blanca is nice for walks but spread out and quiet, Costa Teguise square is very nice also. That 25 gb roaming useage thats with o2 most network are changing and ee charges £2 aday to use allowance not sure on others

lots of irish bars in centre of puerto del carmen, think there is celtic bar in matagorda.
