Plus it’s a well known fact that the hum of a thermal discouragement beam is very soothing to plant life, kind of like when you play classical music to bean sprouts.

Another wonderful example of a chamber with a small amount of items to play with but still takes a bit to work through the logic. I never could get my puzzles boiled down to this level of elegance.
