Yeah!
Dude don't do his research.there is a reason about the preorders.
I think they are trying to pinpoint who is leaking their games early and this is a step into finding that out. Just a thought
Not really because Target and Best Buy are still taking preorders. Mine has already shipped
I'm strictly physical games.
Lots of us work. It's how we afford these things . Lots of times I am working and can't get to the store game day release.
Well my local GameStop called me and told me my copy is at the store already and all I did was put 5$ to have a copy reserve.
Seems like Amazon and Walmart have been shipping games before the release date to some customers, which explains why those 2 are the only retailers canceling preorders
Theyâre still available at Target online đ€·đ»ââïž I ordered one and they shipped it immediately. Iâll probably get it before itâs even due out Thursday. I donât see the big deal. Itâs literally still available
Apparently it's now sold out on target too. I had ordered there , but canceled myself I didn't trust it as I already been cancelled by both Amazon and Walmart.
I honestly see this as a 50/50
i wonder if it has anything to do with the sleeve thats supposed to come w the pre-orders. maybe they didnt print enough?? idk
@switchforce itâs not just paper mario itâs eshop cards digitally on amazon down to for weird reason idk why but it was weird
IM SOOOOO DAMN GLAD I PRE ORDERED THIS IN STORE AT GAMESTOP AND JUST PAID THE GAME OFF â€ïžđđ I DID THE SAME THING WITH LUIGIS MANSION 2 HD WILL BE DOING SO GOING FORWARD IN STORE IS BETTER THAN ONLINE đ
Amazon lost my copy of mario 3d collection and then had to buy on ebay for 100 and then nintendo made more copies and saw them everywhere after 1 or 2 weeks after release. Then bestbuy messed up preorders online/in store. At this point gamestop is the most reliable and my gamestop only orders enough for preorders. No preorder =no copy. Can't believe gamestop is the most reliable.
It has to be Best Buy, GameStop or Target
Pre orders are still available here in Canada đšđŠ
Or maybe they do plan to release these games with different packaging for the next version of Nintendo switch. Ivan see them making limited Nintendo switch packages. I just believe that we are closer than we think to the next Nintendo switch version.
My e-shop preorder got cancelled too
Weird
Same
That is strange.
Through the eshop on the switch? Did you buy digitally from Amazon or Walmart?
Could Nintendo have received news that the physical game has already been hacked?
I would maybe buy one of those memory cards, direct from the company. Probably not from Amazon, though.
hi SwitchForce
Is that a US thing? Seems still available in UK
Yup. Strictly US. Even Mexico and Canada still have it.
Sounds to me it's likely due to some legal reason if it's only one country. Not a choice Nintendo has made.
@@marksapollo With Amazon, it absolutely is a legal/contract issue. Nintendo doesnât like how Amazon doesnât take any part of the preorder money immediately upon preorder. Amazon takes preorder money on release of titles, regardless of the media format youâre looking at. Nintendo also has issues with the fact that Amazon starts shipping before the release date, but that also means, since they have their own drivers in areas close to distribution centers, the game can arrive before the official release date. So theyâve got a few issues with the way Amazon does things.
With Walmart, itâs Walmart making a choice to get butts in the store day one to purchase and shop. Walmart regularly, for day one walk-ins without a preorder, drops the price by about $10 just for day one. Nintendo knows about and allows it, since Walmart is more of a general store that happens to carry games and electronics. Itâs good for both businesses, especially since the $10 off is exclusive to day one and just for walk-ins. If you came in day one for a preorder pickup, youâre still paying full price. So again, Walmart is basically just trying to get butts in the store to buy the game and then do shopping. But theyâre blaming Nintendo for the switch from preorders and online while trying to play the nice guys by giving 25% off to affected customersâ next online purchase.
this sucks as somone who pre orders alot nintendo physical games online
Does seem like a US thing to me. I've no problem to preorder it at Amazon and a dozen other shops in my country (Germany).
They want more people in store to impulse buy other Nintendo stuff in the store
Maybe some sort of exploit was found and they gotta fix it
Nah.
Hey Zack, just digesting the best steak Iâv ever had at The Keg Mansion in Toronto. Everyone should go, itâs haunted. Just saying this to kill space because itâs as simple as Nintendo doesnât care about mini moves at this point before Super Switch is announced . They got Scrooge McDuck money and more to come after thatâŠ
Is it a concern over refund policies? Amazon and walmart seem to take stuff back with little resistance. Perhaps they dont want a barrage of people playing the game quickly then returning it?
scammers grab , " ANYTHING & EVERYTHING they can get their hands on . so if they know that this is the new game that people are looking forward to ..its not there !thats the fastest way for them to grab " easy money ....they dont care what the public wants , the scammers issue is "ME,ME,ME,ME !!
I think there are two possible explanations: 1, there were too many preorders and Nintendo didn't make the required number of cartridges - 2, Nintendo is arguing with online retailers about money, they either believe that Amazon etc is taking too big a cut, or Amazon / Walmart are trying to press for a bigger cut, and Nintendo withdrew their business. Still, with Nintendo, it could be anything really :)
If anything this helps scalpers, at least thatâs my opinion
There is a reason its amazon and walmart ONLY
I got diddy Kong racing a week early
I am sooo hyped for Luigiâs mansion 2 hd
Can someone reply pls
Boring remake to me.
I hype for monster hunter stories đź
You ok bro? Youre sounding raspy like jason mewes
Zach, thank you so much for doing what you do. It always makes my day better. It honestly does!
In terms of Walmart, Nintendo has allowed Walmart in the past to have titles launch at a lower price just for day one walk-ins, usually about $10 less. And preorders and online orders might limit foot traffic where people can come in and possibly do more shopping when picking up the game.
So it could be Walmart trying to get more butts in the door while punting the blame to Nintendo and playing the good guys by giving a 25% off coupon.
That would explain the Walmart side of things, but what about Amazon?
@@Laz3rCat95 Thatâs store policy issue that Nintendo has been butting heads with them over for a while. Itâs actually why most current first party Nintendo games currently available through Amazon are actually available through third party sellers. One issue that they have with Amazon is the fact that the total funds for preorders are actually pulled out at launch. Itâs how Amazon handles basically any preorder whether weâre talking games, movies, books, or audiobooks. Every other retailer takes either a portion or the full amount at the moment of preorder, whether youâre doing it in store or or online. So basically, they want Amazon to handle first party Nintendo games the same way any other retailer does. And that was bound to blow up eventually.
@@Laz3rCat95 Another reason for Nintendoâs issues with Amazon. They start shipping before the release date. I mean every retailer with online shopping and a shipping option does that, but not everyone has their own fleet of drivers. So with Amazon, thereâs a higher chance of the street date being broken.
@@jongronli1421 That makes sense, thanks
You touched on this briefly, but to me the answer is clear: Nintendo wants to direct sales to the eShop or their own website. We're in a year where Nintendo is trying to maximize profits when they may not have a major tentpole title or a new console. If Nintendo can sell it on the eShop or their website, they'll get an extra $20ish dollars from the sale instead of the store getting their margin. They need the games on store shelf to maximize sales, but if someone saw that their pre-order coming by mail was cancelled and they had to go into the store to pick it up (where it could be potentially sold out), I would bet the customer would be more likely to give up and just download it from the eShop. I know I'll put in the effort to go pick up a physical copy, but downloading from the eShop is just so dang convenient.
Ignore the negative comments because those people don't know anything, I trust Switch Force Zach is the best
Same here I do trust him and he is the best. I agree with you man.
Hey everyone I had Great news update, only 4 Days left to go of Paper Mario 1000 year door đȘ

Nintendo beeing Nintendo again...
Horrible headlines đ
Do research first
LMAO đ
Here is the real skinny. Amazon and Walmart online both allow anyone to sell on their platforms. Therefore basically resellers. If youâve ever ordered from these sources, you know you might get a game from a different region than the one shown. This angers people. The preorder from Amazon was from a third party seller, I canât speak if Walmart was the same. No company should allow third party sellers to avoid liability, this is a đ© capitalistic move. Iâm glad Nintendo is taking this stand.
For one before you make a video do research. For one what happened with Amazon is Nintendo doesnât like that Amazon wants more money and with Walmart is really Walmart fault because their online hasnât been update so bots donât over buy so Nintendo told them no. So before you make a video saying Nintendo is being Nintendo true but research before you talk bad. đ
This proves Zack doesn't do research for anything he is an NPC.
He sees a random title and makes a video about it
Hey take it easy Zack does a good job and besides I donât see yâallâs proof are videos on it
Exactly. Itâs STILL available on Targetâs website
Funnel people into buying digital by making physical inconvenient.
