- Baldurs Gate 3 is a big game and a lot of things could be potentially missed. In this video I will be covering 5 secrets, hidden areas, and things you may have missed in act 1.

When it comes to #3. I am on my evil playthrough, and I know that Wyll and Karlach will leave when I attack the Druid Grove. So I went down to the Festering Grove and to Boooal and his minions, and I sacrificed Wyll to him, which granted all 3x of my remaining party members a permanent buff called the Blessing of Boooal, which is Melee Advantage when attacking Bleeding Targets. Easy, guilt free removal of a Party Member who was going to leave anyway, in order to receive a group wide permanent benefit. Totally recommend!

There is a letter in a bottle in kuo toan cave as well with a letter in it. Reading it, it is written by Doni to his father. Doni is the little grunting boy from druid grove
You can also find a nice shield outside the goblin camp. Follow the trail around by where the pissing goblin is and down the cliff a little. Follow the path until you see a treasure chest. There are absolutely no traps whatsoever. Nope. None at all.
You can also get the druid item from Rath without stealing it by saving Halsin and then they just give it to you.
I found that out after stealing it and then saving Halsin, getting my reward from Rath felt a bit awkward xD

Since then I continue to pickpocket everyone else with good stuff, but make an exception of the rune tablet Rath has :D
I actually didn't know about poisoning the goblins :O
Also you can get to the underdark via Auntie Ethel's place, by wearing one of the masks and going through a secret door

I was just about to go to act 2 and said why not look up missable parts of act 1 and i did not know about the festering grove, thanks for the info man
Btw, you can travel back to act 1 once you're in act 2.. It seems like there's been a lot of people (including myself) who thought you couldn't go back.... BUT, you once you hit act 3, you CANNOT go back to act 1 or 2!!! So be very careful and make sure you've done all you want in acts 1 & 2 before entering act 3.
@@scottporter4524 Great info thanks for the heads up, I've been trying to make sure to do everything in act 1 because of this and I just popped into Act 2 now that I know I can go back.

I didn't kill the Owlbear cub mother but I still found it at the Goblin Stronghold

OMG The first thing that came to mind within watching the first minute of this was that BG 3 is like a very much upgraded Neverwinter Nights.
Aribeth totally should've been the Absolute or something. The BG3 story is nice, but also a bit predictable.
Exactly my thoughts. I loved Neverwinter nights when I was in highschool. This game has taken over all of my spare time.

did find them all. i had a different solution in the druids cove to get there, poisen the golins with the strong poison from the druids cove seem pretty effective.The Gold hint on withers was new to me.
Did you found out more about kaga in the swamps ? I found new paths in every playthrou and i really happy if i can get this game :)

Just when I thought this game really let's you do almost anything I learn I could have poisoned the goblins.
The owlbear cub showed up at my camp a few times but never stayed... I gave him food and everything :(

Yeah, after a few days of sleep, it'll become permanent. Or has it still not shown up for you?
She dies anyway, even if you choose not to fight her, that's how the cub ends up in the Goblin camp. Worth going back to check out her corpse, she has 1 half of a magic spear embedded in her, and the other half is close to the cave.

Ok, so getting into the hidden vault in the Druid Grove is the reward for freeing Halsin. What *I* want to know is, what's up with the wall NW of the big wolf totem (that turns into a staircase)??? When you mouse over it, it has a gear icon and if you click on it with Astarion in the party he tells you it's impossible to pick. I never got it open... Any ideas?!??
Im guessing you mean the Wall that connects the outside of the grove, the prison and the Library. If you come from inside the Tunnel you can just destroy the Wall if I remember correctly. Go to the poison Aren and there is a Spot to jump down that leads to a hidden Tunnel. Another way is through the locker house with the tiefling that can't move her Legs, climb Up the boxes and go through the hole in the roof.

Dang. I wish I wasn't such a Douche. I killed the Owlbear and than the Cub because my buddy told me not too. So obv. I had too.
I was mad you couldn't raise it. Or hatch the Egg. Might need to start another game.
I second that you should invest in a better Mic. Or fiddle with sound settings. Other than that. Decent Video.
Here's something cool I found out you don't even have to fight the mom if you go to the goblin camp the cub is just there and you can keep it and recruit it. And also there's a dog that you can find called scratch and they can both become a good friends. You can use the speak with animals spell and the owlbear cub likes scratch and that he reminds him of his big brother.
I kill the mother each Time because i can’t find how to lit the speak head without killing it. And this spear is THE insane weapon against spectator.
