Why is a game that uses AI cringe, when the whole point of the game is the AI aspect? It‘s not like they used AI to save themselves work.
I'll be honest I wrote the script before I looked into what their AI game was about, I just knew people were complaining about it.
That being said I think glorifying AI art of any kind shouldn't be a thing because of how dangerous it is. We are on the edge of loosing human creativity in exchange for easy profits and we have to fight it any chance we get.
AI is a tool. I get why people are worried about their jobs, but I don't get why people are so hostile towards others using it.
Great artists will never lose their jobs.
The only people I'm hearing complaining tend to tweet more than they draw. I do understand the threat of AI, but that's what tech does.
Horses and carriages were replaced with cars.
Grainy films replaced with Imax.
Polaroids replaced with 4K.
Hell new smartphones don't even come with a plug to hook up your headphones in. Most companies use Bluetooth.
Such is life. You can't stay complacent thinking life will be the same for eternity. Always stay ahead of the curve and you'll be fine. AI art or no.
Look at the trailers before the was 3D AI Art and 2D AI Art was bad at that time.

I don't like pokemon. I got bored and got this game... Nice game once you know all the mechanics 😂
It is kinda like what i want to play like from Dungeon Keeper1 accept you don't have to be bad guy. The map and terran suck though, that's the only weakness.

This is like conan: exiles or Ark but the captives aren't 1 dimensional brain dead Ai, it doesn't feel dead and alone in this game, pretty well made for an early access.
