Even if the word is as simple as "dumb" they're playing a competitive game, you just can't tell your oponnent that he is dumb (even if he is or you think it is)
Every sport Iâve ever played had (at some point) similar arguments to this. When winning and losing is involved, arguments tend to get pretty childish. Fights happen, even at the highest levels of competition. The fact they didnât fight at all, actually shows me some signs of maturity in both players.

Hot take: 801 was in the right to decline a 1k MM when he was obviously on tilt. He said it himself: he was salty as fuck. The worst thing he could do would be run a set with a god and embarrass himself when he's already on tilt. That isn't fake confidence, that's just being smart about choosing the right battles. He wasn't afraid to meet in tournament later.
He wasn't afraid when there wasn't money on the line. He would get bodied salty, tilted, angry, zen, calm, happy, sad, angry, annoyed, blissful, alert, agitated, scared, confident, any way you slice it. He could have accepted to run the set in a week.

I remember the Punk vs RobTV salt from Season 2 (or was that S1?). Again about the Capcom Cup champion. It's good when it stays in the game and is really just talk.
