Plenty of characters missing a single eye, but no eyepatches. I feel it's a personal challenge of Oda's that I'm glad he's imposed on himself. Makes for interesting character designs.

It's funny how Punk accomplished everything LTG wants to do. Became a pro player (top 3 SFV player and 2nd place Evo Player), very respected by his peers (Daigo calling him an inspiration), and is rich. And did all of this before he turned 24.

@@MegaEddy360 He certainly has plenty of other options rather than jumping. For instance he could just play the fireball war given the fact that he took Gill's Vs2 which allows him to parry all incoming strikes and projectiles, he'd recover fast enough from a parried Sagat fireball to get into a fireball war with Punk. Or better yet he could just focus on the parry to fill his V Guage, which in turn, forces punk to do something else.
But I'm specifically talking about right here 3:38 absolutely no reason to neutral jump there if he new Sagat's guard break was coming. That's just lack of knowledge in the matchup, but he and many other people will say "There's nothing I can do." when in fact there was plenty to do.
Taco sauce is correct, you have to be careful with Sagat. You jump in and you can get trapped with fireballs, but LTG didn't safe jump in there, he did a jump with a delay kick trying to wiff punish but got trapped. Now if he jumped over him he would have been able to turn it around
@@ChaosKnuxxx The fact of the matter is jumping is risky regardless in SF. In that situation, had he forward jumped, he would've been in a good position. But if you watch any of Ltg's replays, he neutral jumps an absurd amount of times in a match and gets punished for it.

It's still something I know I'd probably never pull off, and props to him for it.... but it's still putting the scope of things into perspective:
DSP's FGC life-achievement is Top 8 at EVO(I think that was the tournament, correct me if I'm wrong) meanwhile, LTG's FGC life-achievements are getting face-fucked by Viscant in USFIV and getting booted off that one TV show no one really watched Episode 1.
Point being, DSP's best achievement wasn't even a win, yet it's still leagues above any bullshit LTG's ever done.

One thing I've noticed with LTG across both SF4 and 5 is that he always does a jump-in. It works on the Plat players, but every time he tried to jump-in here Punk just punished him with a DP. Really hammers home the fact that LTG will never be tournament level.

I can sympathize with LTG complaining about people monetizing lazy stream re-uploads of his stuff, but these are actually nicely put together. Keep 'em coming.
Yes as much as LTG irritates me, a broken watch is right twice a day. LTG retains the IP rights to his own content. If the re-uploads are sufficiently transformative then that's one thing, but most are just clips uploaded to create a montage.
Of course LTG could stop this all in a heartbeat if he stopped acting like a whiny saltbag.
