For darker skins there are products like Tower 28 which has tinted sunscreens SPF 30. Ilia has a tinted SPF 40 serums. I'd also check taraMD a black derm who tests all kinds of sunscreens. Or even The Style and Beauty Doctor who tests a lot of sunscreens.

I didn’t like the CeraVe tinted sunscreen. It was extremely hard to remove at night, even after double cleansing. I was shocked to see residual on my wash cloth the next morning. It’s like wearing clay. Neutrogena is affordable and sheer but very greasy. Dermatlgy is too dark/orangey for my skin. Still on the search for a nice tinted moisturizer.

I was told to use cleansing oil to remove it. Noxema & Albolene work. Sometimes I use my regular cleanser then follow up w/ a cotton ball soaked w/ Micellar water to get the rest.

@@LJE-B I know what you mean. I told a friend it feels like Teflon on your face, esp. if you later add a 2nd coat. I use the Australian Gold spf 50 tinted mineral sunscreen. For tinted moisturizer have you tried the one by Winky Lux? It's $28 and has a slight white tea fragrance. It has a bit of sunscreen in it but not enough to protect you. I buy it at ULTA & Target.

Can you talk about redness and textured skin/scarring? Been struggling with redness and my cheeks always look flushed. I don’t have problems with acne anymore, but do have scarring from acne when I was younger. Just recently started using Cos RX niacinamide 15 so hopefully will see improvement in the coming weeks, but I would appreciate more education on dealing with redness and acne scarring.

What should I do if I am a super pale person, naturally, with multiple hyPOpigmented scars (from impetigo infections). The ONLY positive to getting these infections and scars in my 40s and 50s is that the wrinkles and freckles previously located in same location are all gone.

    • @nayjavu

Pilling happens if you mix other ingredients that don't mix well with the base sunscreen ingredients. It's not just the sunscreen that's the issue. Do research on pilling

Minimum wage has been stuck at 7.50 for FIFTEEN YEARS. $20 is working for 3hrs after taxes. In Texas I still regularly see jobs offering only minimum wage or maybe a few bucks above it. 2/3rds of all jobs in America pay 35k or _less._ Influencers need to remember this when recommending stuff that is "affordable". I volunteer w/ my parent's church to help their elderly congregants living on fixed incomes and they are STRUGGLING just to avoid ending up on the streets. It's even worse for families with little kids or chronic illnesses. I just had to help go thru the estate of a couple that committed suicide bc they were gonna lose their house after they were forced by healthcare costs due to covid to pull out their home equity and then a scammer saying they were from the bank was able to get a hold of their account info and stole over 80k. The bank and the cops did nothing for months. They were both in their 70s and were dealing with some level of senility. I'm shocked at how so much of society seems to be collapsing and yet so many people refuse to acknowledge it

@@christinescopas1441 This is the ONLY c I have used. Over 15 years. It totally works. I keep it refrigerated. They were the first company of two that brought to market the same formula of SC when their patent ended. Timeless offers it also in a 10% to help those who are new to C. They also have a serum. The one Sugai suggests is the same price point and available on a retail shelf, or Amazon I believe. Shocked he is not endorsing the Ferulic though.
The research I have done supports partnering C with Ferulic. It delivers better. ~ Thanks for responding!
