Try a lube combo of heavy/sticky lube on the tracks(nearer to the core) and light lube (not Maru) on the pieces. It gives a nice soft feel
Tried 4x1 N35 and N52. I definitely prefer N52. Will glue them in some point this weekend, since exams are over
The compact springs can actually produce much lighter tensions in the puzzle, because they are actually a few mm shorter than the stock magnets with the same tension they make the have a very different feeling, it also makes a difference which way around you actually put the springs. Physics time, after some research the compact springs actually act as if they are two different springs, I believe this is why it gives such a different feeling.

On a side note, after wiping off the factory lube and applying some light one, this cube is quite fast - the slow feel out of the box was just due to abundant factory lube :)
My mgc personally feels very slow, and I am not sure how to speed it up
Clean it out. Often lube will slow it down. If anything only add light lube like Maru or Lunar

Woww, so true. That was my favorite cube for awhile. And I always loved YJ so when I heard about this I was siked! Just got it in the mail today. My first magnetic cube. I still have to get used to it but I think I'll love it soon

I tensioned it to how I like, added some light lube. It NEVER have one way to set up a cube and may adjust it one day to the next based on how I feel that day.

i havent cubed +i dont feel like doing sessions as i used to
i just pick up the cube do some algs and put it back
+i went to a comp and i dont feel like practicing now a days

Take a break, do something different. You don't need to always want to do the same thing. Possibly try something different like FMC or blind if you have not done that before. Learn new methods like Roux or ZZ if you don't already know them.

The original MGC was never in stickerless. If it says it is than it is a rip off/scam, or a different cube.

They are extras in case magnets fall out... which you will never have.
So Shawn which spring would you say make the cube slower? Cause mine is a bit fast for me and it's on kinda tight tensions . I lost my lubicle silk and won't be able to get another yet cause I live outside the U.S
The tighter the springs you use, the slower the cube and more stable it will be. If you don't have other springs you just need to tighten the tensions with the screw.
Can you make one of these vids with what the extra Valk power springs do?
They are just a bit lighter.
Shawn, if capped design is preventing this cube to be stickerless and can you explain of the valk power,gan 460m,gan354m,etc?
Those have a three piece cap design and not a single cap. If YJ were to change it to a three piece they would need to redesign the way it attaches.

I used N35 4x2 but some may find that too strong. I have a whole video on how to lube a cube on the channel.

You need 3 in every corner and 2 in each edge. 48 total

You don’t want it completely tight. You just tension it to however loose you want the cube.
How about the sticker quality is the sticker durable? Or as bad as yuxin little magic??
The stickers are quality. Even YuXin has updated theirs and the idea of them being “bad” is just the old batch.

Depends how you like it. Some I’ve altered immediately and some felt great right away.
With the Yuxin 5x5x5, I didn't even lube it. I don't know if the cloud is like that, but I'd say don't lube/wait to lube.

Little Magic in my opinion but if you don't like the blocky feel and do like a bubbly feel, go for the MGC

What does the MGC stand for ?
No one seems to know for sure. Some people think it's Magnetic _____ Cube, some people think MaGiC, some people think MaGic Cube. A lot of different theories. YJ I do not believe officially said what it stands for.
