    the issue with the 2S giving you immediately a "low battery" warning is more likely due to the feeble battery connector. in other videos they suggest to replace it with a solid pin JST, or an XT30

    I was really impressed with this one, it seemed to fly really well. And it had a great punch-out when you took it up in your backyard. I don't really understand all that pin profile stuff your we're talking about, so I don't know if something like this would be beyond my skill level. But it sure looks like a fun quad to mess around with. Great review Ryan. And stay safe out there.

    • @RDsRCReviews
      @RDsRCReviews  Před 4 lety +1

      Actually Ron I don't understand the PID's either. Thankfully it auto switches the most important PID profile according to the battery voltage. The rate profile you still need to switch if you wish but they likely isn't too important. You could definitely fly this drone in stabilized mode. In stabilized it flies just like any toy. Thanks so much for watching!

      @@RDsRCReviews Thanks for the great info on the Tinyhawk 2, now I feel little more comfortable ordering one. But I will wait until this virus crisis is over so I can go out to the local parks and fly again. John C recommended the Tinyhawk 2 to me on a recent FPV show. And just like you, I need to get better FPV goggles. Stay safe.

    Great little quad. Only problem I had was the LED strips are junk. The ends aren't secure and kept getting caught in the props. So I gorilla glued them to the frame. After a couple crashes they came loose so I just desoldered and junked them.

    • @RDsRCReviews
      @RDsRCReviews  Před 9 měsíci +1

      No, you don't need a license to fly anything for recreation purposes in the USA. Now if the drone weighs over 250g then it'll need your FAA # and a remote ID module but this drone weighs way less than 250g so it has no restrictions. This is a backyard and inside your house flyer so there's no worries

    What is the flight time off of one of these? I'm new to the hobby and have been recommended to get this to start out and practice with, but I won't get much fly time/learning if you need to change batteries every 2 minutes. Do you recommend buying additional batteries if I wanted to practice with this for hours at a time, if so what batteries and charger etc do I buy?
