The middle position of the left toggle switch is the beeper. I’ve seen a video with that transmitter and the sticks were replaced with real sticks.
I’ll have to check that out, it did come with the beeper armed already, but as a first initial review just something to keep in mind... you can go into beta flight and turn it on and off 🤘🏻 I’ll probably be upgrading the controller setup at some point
@@JordanHandwerker If a person is a beginner, he won’t want to jump into BetaFlight right off the bat. I already have goggles and don’t want another set. They don’t offer a bundle that has the quad and transmitter together, so, they would have to buy them separately. The transmitter is $40. It would be nice to get a better transmitter that can be used with other quads, but I don’t want to spend a fortune either. What other / better transmitter would work?
To be honest I haven’t gotten that far into FPV as a hobby yet, I myself am still figuring out a lot as a beginner too, I have seen some good intermediate Transmitters/Controllers for around $100 that should work with most quads on Race Day Quads website. Like a Taranis X9 but I also believe too that ( I’m not 100% certain) you may still have to use Beta Flight In setting that up with any quad... look up Max Beamer on Instagram or here on CZcams as he might be able to point you in a better direction than myself
@@JordanHandwerker Sounds good. Thanks. From what I’ve read, there is the D8 and the D16 used to set these up. I think it’s a protocol thing. I’m not sure because for as long as I’ve been at this, I’ve always used Spektrum’s DX6i. Yes, I’m an old fart and fly like it, so, I don’t dump a lot of $$$ into what I buy and fly. Mostly, I fly right in my yard so I don’t have to pack things up and go anywhere.
@@kodak_jack yeah I mean I’m not going out on adventures on a daily basis either 🙌🏻 I basically fly at my house just to practice as one day I’d like to step up into a 3” cinewhoop or a 5” but I’m still so far from that point I feel
I bought one , and find its really hard to keep in the air, do I have to set it up on beta flight ?
Zaeem Mohammed it’s really one of those things that you have to practice with even if you just run a couple batteries for hovering around
