- I believe that Arne Slot and Ruben Amorim are the outstanding coaching prospects to replace Jurgen Klopp but I think in some ways, Arne Slot suits Liverpool long term, more than Amorim for a few reasons. That is not to say that I discount Ruben Amorim who would be a top choice as the next Liverpool manager to replace Klopp, but I would certainly be very happy with Arne Slot and predicted him in the last video!

Yes slot may fit better tactics wise. But can we really over look a managers because they don't use 4-3-3 . The statement we are hearing is we are going to be brave/ bould! By replacing a 4-3-3 manager within a 4-3-3 , eh? I mean obviously if amorim has come in and said he wants full transfer control then obviously that's crazy. And he's definitely a no. But the idea that the new manager has to have a similar formation/tactics to klopp is crazy. Listen I'll still be paying my money to go to anfield next season to watch and support, No matter who manages. I Supported Roy and Rodgers at the end of the day 😅

More i read and hear about Slot more and more he makes sense over Xabi and Amorim (especially if the latter if true wanted complete control over recruitment - pretty much a no no since Edwards is back). Two questions though - what does Slot need to work on in terms of his managerial skills?. And where would we need to improve personnel wise to get the best out of his formation/play style?. I know people have been saying LCB and DM . Still need to look for Mo's successor?

Amorin ship has sailed mate, slot is our man. Amorin was my first choice before Alonso was even mentioned, but tactically, style wise, slot is a perfect fit tbh, maybe too perfect as in people will automatically judge and compare him to klopp, more so than someone who would be playing a totally different formation. Slot will keep the ball rolling imo. More than happy to be getting Slot in to take over from jurgen, lets get behind him and give him the support he is going to need. Slot is OUR man. Let's get behind him.
Really good analysis - my only issues are whether he has the pulling power of Klopp to get the best players in the market. Also squad is not built to play 4231 as our CDMs roster are probably the weakest area of the squad (Endo, Bacejtic and Mac( who isn't a CDM). No experience of the EPL represents a huge gamble. Do you think he will try and get Hancko, Timber and Wieffer, left footed CB and 2 athletic defensively minded midfielders that we don't really have and can help us in transition?

I was hoping for Amorim but pretty much only follow Liverpool so what do I know about managers? I’ve heard that because Amorim style of play would require too much change of personnel, I think it’s a bit worrying that we’re not willing to change , but , you can see with Man Utd trying to change a system can be really hard if some of your new player get injured. If Man Utd’s first team get injured they can’t play ten hags why and they’ve spent 400 million I can understand why they don’t won’t to change and why they want a seamless transition given why we would need to buy two cbs a 10 and a and perhaps sell some winger I can see why it’s too much change
