Slot has said he likes working within a well organised structure, and that he's perfectly comfortable working with what he's given while others are in charge of transfer business. It feels like he's the ideal Edwards appointment for that. The step up from Eredivisie to Liverpool still makes me anxious, but what i've seen and heard of him does make me quite enthusiastic.

I love the fact that Slot isn't the sort of manager who finds success at clubs built for success, whose recruitment policy is to spend ridiculous amounts on the so-called best in the world. It's about time our academy was treated the same way as La Masia and some of the other well-respected youth systems in the world. Slot brings youth players through, makes them part of the first team, plays attacking football with a defensive frugality, and has some experience winning major trophies at a relatively young age. All huge pluses when it comes to the best job in the world.

He is a gamble that could pay off given time and support, from management and the fanbase. I honestly don't think there is any manager out there who can replace klopp, so he is a good gamble.

  • @johnconnick5308

The Liverpool youngster’s must be licking their lips knowing they have a new manager in Slot who believes in youth development and then you look at how the youngsters out played Chelsea’s full team in extra time of the Caraboa cup and I bet you Slot would have watched that along with beating Southampton in the FA Cup and how are youngster’s are ready for the now and the future and in Slot we have a manager that loves giving youth a chance and I love that Danyson’s Conor Bradley, Bobby Clark, Barjectic, even Kelleher could be thrown into the mix, but all I know is getting Michael Edwards back to Liverpool was vital then we got Richard Hughes and now Slot as our head coach and I cannot wait to see Slot’s first game in charge for Liverpool and he was the only manager when mentioned about the Liverpool job he said live on ESPN He would love the Liverpool job and he was buzzing when he was asked that question.
The future is very bright and with Slot in charge along with Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards he has the most important man in Michael Edwards when Klopp wanted two different players Edwards went and got Mo Salah and Mane and that said it all for me.
So let’s enjoy a brand new run away train under Slot and let’s get behind this man and his coaching staff and see another set of pearly white set of teeth again. So let’s enjoy another chapter in Liverpool’s Illustrious history, just bring it on YNWA

Arne will Slot in nicely & will sign papers on Tues 1.30pm to 1400pm gmt on 07/05/24 & great Paisley 2.0 era begins, as per FR, (top pundit of transfers) & Dutch clairvoyants predictions. FORCAST as very happy marriage between LFC & SLOT.

Is it time to bring the 10 Kop-Kids Cup-Kings back?
LFC Team shot conversion rate must rise from 5% to 15% in run-in. Most creative team in world but blunted by having its best finisher injured for 3 months approx (Jota)
Being fit to play after injury is not same as being in top form. It takes a month to get hot as per Sir Kenny Daglish.
Jota injury & baby Gakpo's birth are why LFC lost as Mo's out of form. Mo's conversion rate before injury was 23% & now it's 6%.
If Jota had stayed fit, & Gakpo baby came a few hours later LFC wud be champs narrowly.
JOTA'S CONVERSION rate is 33%. (& on big chances Jota converts a world best 66%) - LFC has 1 worldy clinical finisher & ManC has 2 in Haaland & Alverez.
Anytime u win a cup & get into UCL, its a good season, so be grateful & stop moaning.
Legends Bobby Moore, Alan Ball, Emyln Hughes, Cyrille Regis & Geoff Astle all died before age 60 & never got to see their kids married or play footy with teenage grandkids.
Spurs will defeat Man C & Arsenal will be favourites & both have loseable games vs Spurs.
LFC have a 1.5% chance but its better than a 0.1% chance. U can't do much more when injuries rob u of ur top boys.
Losing derbies always hurt like toothache, get over it & pray 4 world peace to make good luck karma kop fans.
