Always thought Joao Carlos Teixeira was going to be a huge success at Liverpool, such a shame it didn't work out for him.
It also didn't work at Feyenoord, although we also saw the potention.
To be honest I didn't know he played for Feyenoord 😄😄😄
Saw the name and thought: Ah yeah he also played for us at Feyenoord. Shows how much he impressed us, unfortunately.

i remember gerrard sayin in an interview he saw him play and said he was the best he'd seen at that age group for long time and recommended livepool to go for him after seeing him play with sporting lisbon, doesnt always work out.

He had that here aswell. Had multiple challenges here. The seasons before him we didnt became champions in 6years. Not a single peice. And our outgoing transfer money wasnt even 20mil a year. First year conference league final. Selling that year for more then 50mil. 2nd year champions of holland. Again more then 50mil outgoing transfers. This year his 3rd year we played in the CL. We dominated in madrid at atletico. But missed better left/right wingers to create even more chances or win the game. Same with lazio away. And after that he won the dutch cup this year. This isnt ten hag. Slots personality is way better. Might help him with this job. Have faith hahah

Doesn't make his learning any less valid. As an example from everyday life, much of what we learned, especially through formal schooling, is hardly used. His point is still worth a listen.

If Jota had stayed fit, & Gakpo baby came a few hours later LFC wud be champs narrowly.

@@Troykingkloppforever Yes you can. We as Feyenoord fans are grateful for his achievements and understand that Liverpool is a step forward. Something you can't reject. He has earned this and everyone sees it as a reward for everything he has done. Besides that; Liverpool is looked at in a positive light; It's a big traditional 'working class' club. Kind of similar to Feyenoord. If we had to compare clubs from both countries we would be you (or vice versa).

This guy revamped a club which was bankrupt on and off the pitch, to a club that is a titel contender, went into knock out phases in Europe, when they never even won a single game in Europe. From a team with no idea and clue how to play attacking, to the best playing side in the league. They first couldn't sell or buy a player above 5 million euros and now they are selling players for above 20 milion and buy players for around 10 million euro's.
