Once it caught traction was when you heard that slight pause, which sounded like what the other comment said, and that would be sounds like he’s burning his clutch out but I have the same exact car 2008, 350 Z and, I admit I had to watch it a few times two here that the shift came right after that about two seconds that was the 1st to 2nd gear shift

@Look At My Face Im Morphing I would change it every 3k miles, these engines sludge up a lot especially in the top end. They could also greatly benefit from an oil catch can otherwise they'll clog up your intake with junk from the PCV system
Bro if you have a DE take advantage and turbo it. It's by far the cheapest Z to turbo and make good power. To me that is the biggest advantage of the DE.
I still got a full size van so I can haul around the extra parts for that bad boy haha, you can daily drive it ....... but I only want to drive it when i WANT to drive it

This is the 07-08 engine VQ35HR and has two intakes for increased airflow. The previous 350z models had the VQ35de engine which only had one intake. If your asking which is better it really depends if you're force inducted. You can have one huge air intake or 2 decent sized ones. Basically the more air flow to the engine the better.

i just wanna know if my DE will sound like this with no rasp. i have the AP and ive looked at every AP exhaust video on youtube and this is the only one that doesnt rasp at all. not even resonated test pipes sound this good. it wont rasp right? is the HR to DE note going to sound that different?
do you have some hiss from the the test pipes while the car is under load? like if you give it a little too much gas in a high gear you can hear the air flow. I'm trying to find a good setup to replace my system right now because it hisses and sometimes is just more air noise than explosions.
