Hey man I love everything about the car and I look forward to replicating mine like yours, but I want my Z to have an exhaust with less rasp. Any tips as to an exhaust set up that would sound good but not be crazy loud or have a lot of rasp noise?

The carbon fiber air vents in the doors, are they real ones or did you wrap them? Mine has the shit interior where all the door handles and the area in the middle is scratching (I repainted the middle part but gotta handle those vents and the handles) and I'm trying to deceide which way to go.
The low speed rasp is terrible...I have LT catless headers on mine with no muffler or resonator and the low speed rasp is horrible....Sure hope this Circuit Werks resonated Y pipe does the trick.

My recommendation is go with “stock style” headers and get some good resonators. Also avoid tomei exhaust if you want a deeper less raspy sound.

5th gear grind could be just the 5th gear syncronizer
ima swap out the tranny fluid hopefully that fixes the issue

Are the DC headers worth it instead of the expensive ass PPE headers?
From what I heard ppe are the best headers for HR but dc sport headers are the best cheap headers with good gains👍🏼
I wanted PPE for the sound and performance, but seeing as DC is cheaper by a long shot and still equal length, they should be good too

I would say so, DE are great tho but obviously the HR is the newer engine so it does have some differences
HR has dual intake instead of single intake, also the HR internals are improved so it can rev higher and make more power
