2018 wrx sti, my daily with 102,000km and I always maintain my oil changes and top up fluids if needed, NOT ONE PROBLEM, I was gonna start tuning but the head gaskets can’t take more power so they tend to blow out or break seal, don’t let pedal bike owners tell you any different amazing car bro!!
As an sti and wrx owner i can tell you that head gaskets are not an issue with turbo subarus and never have been. The NA 2.5's were known for it but people would just put gaskets made for an ej 255 or 257 and it solved the issue. Ringlands or bearings will break long before head gaskets.
I can Tell you all now. TYPE RA Blocks lasts about the same as the Stock EJ25. Seen it happened to a couple of my friends. So that's why I just got the Stage 2 Tuff from IAG.

From one STI owner to another, if I can get your input on something, I understand there's a recall concerning reversing and activating the lights and backup camera. Will a new stereo system bypass the issue or is that through bad cables? (I'm fairly illiterate with cars compared to computers)

The Cobb Polyurethane Bushings along with the Polyurethane shifter linkage Bushings. Also have Polyurethane Torque solutions Motor mounts, Solid Transmission mount, Solid Rear diff Mount, Polyurethane Pitch stop mount with Wall mounting Brace bracket.
I have one, but I chose an automatic. I am already an adult uncle and I am no longer attracted to high speeds))) A good car with a very hardy suspension, I have to go fishing along a quarry road where Belaz people drive, the endurance of this car is surprising.

Last tuned was 450 on stock block then it gave out. This one has Tune coming up This Monday the 17th. Upgraded my injectors to 1300's as well as the new Build IAG Stage 2 Tuff 2.5L
@@opticsmedia.official I just got tuned not to long ago on a FP Blue E85 making 434 @19.5 PSI on a mustang dyno. I have all the reliability parts I can get (KillerBHeaders, GDT cooling mod, AOS, Koyorad, killer B pickup) how long did yours last on stock block and was it the type RA block?

I did most of the Work, the Built Block I purchased from IAG and The Block install got helped from Our shop @onesubaru

I have used the HKS BOV and I love that whistle sound. I'm Currently using the Tial BOV for my ETC FMIC.
