So soft spoken, like a gentle giant. Very impressive

I remember as a kid and avid lions fan seeing big Mal getting out of his car at the shops one day and as he was standing up it seemed to me like he was just going higher and higher. The guy is a man mountain. I was in awe of his presence at the time, and now seeing this he seems like a really good bloke. Enjoyed this interview.

Mal Michael is definitely one out of the classics: He had the last laugh 😂

Port were more than deserving of that premiership, had finished top 3 straight years and choked in the finals a couple of years but those battles at the Gabba between Port and Brisbane were epic, a 2-2 split would have honestly been fairer but three in a row for Brisbane was deserved by imo the greatest football side ever, but Port deserved theirs too

I'm no Port fan but it's easy to forget how good that Port team were.

Yeah, now that he's given up bashing an injured player, he sounds like he's improving.

Mike: "How far out were you do you think?"
Mal: "I was about 30-35 metres."
Wow, this is a perfect example of how people falsely recreate memories in their minds.
