    • @worthy8092
      @worthy8092 Před 8 lety +3

      +Emily Charland I agree that adhering to a written religion does not define people or encompass who they are. However, the majority of Christian people, for instance, don't know that the new testament of the bible still heavily oppresses women, race and differing culture. They do not know this, because they have not read their own bible. In the bible, a woman is not even entitled to speak in church, question the men in their lives or even teach boys/men in an official capacity. Yet do Christian women adhere to this? No. It is not the place of the "devout" to adapt the written will of their god, yet they do so, Rendering their faith empty and heretical. "Christian people" do not follow these tenets because they are ridiculous and cruel, yet they continue to believe that their religion is about love & acceptance , which is simply untrue. I, however, do love that people of faith alter their own religion as society evolves, because if they didn't, this barbaric book of oppression would make it's followers look like savages.

We have a choice between a turd sandwich or a bowl of vomit oatmeal. In my opinion, if Trump stopped tweeting in 2019, he would have won reelection. If he would have just listened to his generals regarding our allies and also trusted his advisors who told him to tone it down or not do something really stupid like his covid policy, he would have been a great president with 65 % approval and I really believe that for good reasons. If he just didn't have this weird fetish for Putin and scapegoating immigrants, he would have been one of our greatest presidents and he would have made great progress on immigration policy. More importantly, he would have had my respect. Ive felt this way for some time after carefully looking at his work especially with hindsight. Trump had charisma and jfk did too. Trump abandoned the Kurds and jfk put us on the moon. Trump is a smart guy. He could have wrangled the knuckle dragging wing of the R party and sedated the wokencrats especially the senators from NY. Like Obama, Trump brought up the incredible economic theft perpetuated by China but unlike Obama, he actually scared Ping, Tao, and the kid from UP living in north Korea. @A E the Mueler report showed no collusion with Russia. An impeachment based on lies. Joe Biden’s son has been caught red handed, pimping access to the vice president of America for billons of dollars from foreign entities giving 10% to the big guy.
      So tell me again, what evidence do you have to back up your claim of ‘Russian Collusion’?
      I’m waiting...

    Listen to both parts 1 and 2 of this interview. Part 2 especially is so much MORE than what you ever see on TV. Thank you to Joe for all he expressed, and thank you to Stephen for allowing him the time and encouraging him to go deeper. This is what I wish we could experience from TV more often. I went to my exercise class the next morning and was still so filled with the messages from this interview that I could only sit on the floor next to the wall and feel the vibrations of the music and the dancing feet. Thank you both for the inspiration in addition to the information.

    I love that Mr. Biden is so directly honest about his feelings and his losses. That wasn't a VP talking or a politician. That's a father talking about his kids. I didn't know about Colbert's tragic losses. It's a powerful thing when people who've suffered through tragedies get together. I hope they inspire everyone to keep trying no matter how difficult it is. Never give up.
