I have not had French dressing for a long time, thank you. I am hoping you may be able to help me. I have a couple dressings I get from TJ's and would like to make at home as I buy them very often, and some they no longer sell as they change around so much. How do I go about this? I am use to going from a recipe, such as you give to make dressings. I would like to learn how to make without a recipe. Happy your back, have a great day.
I might be able to. Replacting a dressing takes alot of time and supplies. If it's a creamy dressing it's made with mayo if it's not then it's a mix of oils and other things. Plus seasoning and or herb ect. It can become a pain with trial and error. It's alot of work and you really have to learn how to taste each thing in said dressing or anything to try and recreate it. That was one thing they thought us in culinary school. Refining your palette is hard vut once you do you can start to recreate recipes off something you have had before. If you want tell me the dressing I might be able to get some myself and work on it and make a few videos for you on them.
@@HomeHeadChef Morning, your offer is very generous, thank you. They are Romano Caesar Dressing & Organic Toasted Sesame. I am sure there are some ingredients not really needed. I find these ones to taste better then some others I have tried. Again, thank you for your generous offer. Have a great day & weekend.
@@annhopy2220 your very welcome. I have not tried these by TJS but I do have recipes for a Caesar dressing and a toasted sesame dressing. I be doing videos on soon. Since summer is on apon us and salads/ dressing are a big hit during the summer with fresh vegetables. If I had to take a guess I think the Romano Caesar they might just replace the parmesan cheese in the dressing with Romano. But I'm not 100% sure. I see what I can come up with.
Nice, simple recipe and good video HHC
Thank you very much.
Good stuff.
