    You’re doing a great job with these videos, Paul. Absolutely clear information, well-paced presentation, it pushes all the buttons. Well done. 👍👍👍

    Kudos for the clear words and clarifying support graphics. An explanation of such a product line could (and would usually be) a nightmare of a confusing muddle. But instead it was clearly articulated and illustrated. Well done. Gives me deeper confidence in the company and product overall.

    Thanks for the explanation Paul. It's probably worth mentioning that none of the 2nd generation batteries are within the 160Wh limit for taking on a commercial passenger aircraft. Even the smallest of the new batteries for the slim is 166Wh, so would need to be sent as freight, and travel on a dedicated cargo plane. Surprisingly I actually see this as a positive, as it makes it much easier for me to choose which one to get. As someone who's quite new to foiling, there's now no case for getting the smallest size. So it's max power for me all the way!

    FAA regs for airline batteries is at 160WH x 2 spares right now. Very close.

    Any chance you are developing a 40 volt slim endurance battery? I really need the extra thrust

    Hey Paul, I see you have a discharger for the old 28v system but not one for the new 40v system. Is there a reason for that? Do we not need them for the 40v 11s architecture? Or if we do can we use the same discharger? I just bought a random isdt 200w smart discharger online and it says 3s-8s so I’m assuming I can’t use it, is that correct? The last thing I want to do is to store my battery for a week or so at full capacity but I’ve found myself in that situation so should I just hook it up and run it or a while or is there a different discharger I can buy? Please advise so I do not harm my existing battery. Thank you so much!!!
    P. S. The gen 2 system is tits!!! The power is unbelievable, I weight about 100-103 kg and it gets me right up on beginner setting with no problems whatsoever. You have really hit the mark with this one and I plan to document by progress via CZcams channel to show what your product is capable of.

    Will you make an airline travelling option soon? Will it be based on the slim or the max version or maybe both?

    Thanks for the explaination. What is the longevity of the new battery's compared to the Assist Plus or when would you have to buy a new one?

    Hey Paul, what size board do you need to "get up on foil" using the 28 volt gen 2 endurance battery?

    Thanks Paul, would you mind explaining why the slim endurance battery cannot use the same 40v 11s architecture as the slim performance. If it could....it would be an epic option. Thanks

    Will the endurance battery get you up on foil without a wave assist on a small prone board

    Would be interesting to know the weight? Maybe it is on the website …?

    Since the Slim Performance is in fact a combination of the 2 batteries from the travel pack, wouldn’t that mean that it would be possible to fly with it? Same as the travel pack..

    • @foildrive
      @foildrive  Před 7 měsíci

      The Slim Performance is one whole battery so is considered as one entity with a Watt hour above the rated capacity. The Small Batteries, although can be combined, are considered as two separate batteries with lower individual watt hour ratings. The Slim battery cannot be split into two pieces so cannot fall under the restrictions.
      We look forward to building on our battery offerings in the future to allow for travel with Gen2 Systems. We are also beginning to explore different options with our Dealers, some offering the use of their demo batteries.

    Just to confirm you said you ran max over 10km/45mins. Is that efoil style riding?
