0:43 and two years later it all unraveled at Hillsborough. It was even worse at the 1987 league cup replay at WHL. How it took until 1989 for the horror of fencing to unravel I'll never know.

yeah its the fencing that did it they need to bring back all standing without the fencing and we'll be fine

@Will Ball I've been crushed at a match with no fencing everyone of a certain age wants to be behind the goal

remember this game was shown live on bbc on a sunday lunchtime - a rare live game back then. shame the sweeping move which lead to the 2nd goal isn't shown on this clip.

@@steve7104 You're confusing it with the Littlewoods SF at WHL a few months later, that was a mid week game, but the one here was the division one game, played on Sunday afternoon. Can remember watching it.

@@steve7104 No you're thinking of the league cup semi final replay which was midweek. This was the league match and was definitely on a Sunday lunchtime.

I remember watching it to TV too. On a Sunday just after Christmas. Told my parents we weren't back to school till Tuesday (a lie) and so spent the day worrying if they'd find out lol. As well as worrying if Arsenal could hold on for the win😩😃

@paul smith i think at one time spurs had half an the goonrr side was kind of mixed but spurs used to have most of the uncovered left part of the northbank until around 82.. but ye i am in agreement with you.
