I was wondering which one works best in a little bit of wind. The Explorer has small little wind shields that surround each individual burner. The Expedition has a wind shield that surrounds both burners all the way around the stove and on the bottom too. What model is best?
Do you think the expedition is worth the $100 difference from the explorer? I recently bought the expedition 2x for $169 but seen the explorer for $79.
I think the expedition is slightly better quality. If you get the explorer and buy the griddle separate it'll still be around $135 (expedition comes with it).
@@backcountrycariboo I plan on getting the professional griddle and grill box as well. The griddle that came with the expedition works good and we used it on a camping trip. But debating if we should get the explorer because of the $100 difference.
nal0s0ljah This seems like the same stove as the Expedition. I just bought the Expedition that came with the hinged grill box and reversible griddle plate for just over $200, and got the carry bag for like $26 on Amazon. Built great and should last years of camping! Not one CZcams review. I might have to do one after I use it a while.
