easy fix... goto history and remove that one watched video.
That way it stops recomending that type of video.

@@lawtamimthat is actually a good thing. Most platforms will feed on positive feedback, keeping feeding you only stuff you are already inclined into watching. For us who watch gaming videos, it could be something slightly related like the history of warfare. But for people who have very strong opinions about say, politics, it's a good thing to feed opposing videos too.

The equivalent of those cooking recipes that feature the chefs life story, what they had for breakfast, a memory involving one of the ingredients, and an anecdote on how to be a better person. Also, just crack the eggs in to the pan and let them sit for 3-5 minutes or until the yoke is to your liking. And that’s how you fry an egg! 😁
This is why you gotta show some love when someone's got you with a 2 minute, straight to the point tutorial.
You forgot the bit where the CZcams recommended videos get overlaid on the screen far too early near the end of the video, and obstruct any useful content underneath! 😂
What a God awful feature lol can't pause, scroll, or literally touch your screen when all that pops up. And if you don't hit something they'll just auto play that video anyway 🤦🏾♂️
@@LonghornsLegend - Yeah, although on a computer it's more annoying for the reasons I mentioned rather than the stuff you listed which presumably only affects mobile devices.
What if I told you that you can use AB+ to block those video overlays so you never miss the end of a video (at least when on PC) again. And you can do it while still whitelisting the ads so you're not actually "using" nono addons, just removing annoying popup things from being seen that should be a toggle in the first place. Element picker > select popup card > hide element.

I worked in an express oil change shop. Sometimes I used CZcams to find out how to reset the oil change life in people's cars while the customer was waiting for their keys back. I felt this video in my bones.

@@Goldy01 sadly that's pretty much how most people do it these days, there are too many variants of car around to know how to do them all, each with a different method of doing things and unless you work for a specialist so you only deal with the same types of vehicle every day, or maybe at a brand dealer, you probably wouldn't know. Even with years of experience, you won't always know exactly how a brand new car works. The real difference is having the equipment to hand and the willingness to do it, most owners don't service their own cars and that's what they are paying for, ultimately, if they get fresh oil and the light is off, they are happy.
@@Goldy01 yep. There's a manual that tells you how to reset every vehicle, but it takes longer to find the vehicle you're looking for and read the bulletin than it is to just Google it. I do know about 99.9% of reset procedures, but Toyota Prius for example likes to change the procedure every few years.

I usually find a thorough read of any official documentation to be the fastest and clearest way to get to the answer and the best understanding of the parts and pieces of the project.
Every tech CZcamsr plays their 30 second intro right after saying “let’s get started.”

I'm going to leave my feedback about the video, but first I'd really like to thank the comment section. If it wasn't for all the hard work that people put into their feedback on random internet videos, I'm not sure how I would be able to objectively look at the video from multiple different perspectives in such a short time. Also shoutout to the commenters who always come up with really clever and funny comments, they usually rise to the top so they are very easy to catch when looking through all the amazing comments. All of those comments really brighten my day, except for some of the trolls and ragebaiters who spend probably far too much time writing massive paragraphs of text that no one will read, but if you do read it it can ruin your day as you really want to respond but theres no easy way to do it and rebut all of the points you disagree with without just saying a one or two line insult which can then make you look like the real arse instead of the person who is clearly just flaming for the sake of it or just had a really bad day. Which, you know, does happen alot, I can't tell you how many times ive read angry comments and responded and ended up in a bit of a flame war only to find out that they were just having a bad day when the wrote the comment and then we apologize to each other and find some common ground and then we both feel good. It's really quite a crazy cool experience interacting with commentors that have a different opinion, starting out angry, and then coming to appreciate them and their point of view after hours of constantly checking to see if they responded to my last comment and pre-planning what angry rebuttal I can come up with to nuke their argument, but in the end leaving knowing you connected with another human being. All that said, thank you to all the commentors out there. Now for my feedback: This short was really good!
