    BMW has made a few critical changes to the 3 Series sedan. The Hoffmeister kink is gone. The base-level 320i trim is gone. The M3 has yet to arrive. But the biggest changes are the ones unseen: The latest 3 Series shows just how advanced vehicle infotainment systems can be… assuming you’re willing to pay for it.
    First and foremost, nearly all of BMW’s key infotainment features require paid subscriptions. They all come with free trial periods, but after those trials expire, you’ll need to pay for the privileges. That includes Apple CarPlay. Other notable features include smart navigation that remembers your regular routes and optimizes them for you based on traffic. There’s also a digital smart key available, which allows you to unlock and turn on your 3 Series using your cell phone.
    Under the hood, BMW offers it's incredibly refined 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. It makes 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, and it’s quiet and smooth. BMW does pump fake engine sound into the 3’s cabin, but that’s becoming more common on quiet, performance-oriented cars. The 6-speed manual transmission option is gone, in favor of an 8-speed automatic.
    Pricing for the 2019 BMW 330i starts at $40,250 but can climb well north of $50,000 depending on your options. For more information on the 2019 BMW 3 Series, read Cliff’s full review on CarGurus: cargur.us/wr2sk

    Endless electrical glitches and sub par reliability guaranteed.
    Don't keep it one mile after the warranty has run out.
    I was a serial BMW owner but each new one was less reliable than the one preceding it so I didn't shed a tear when I traded the last one in.

      The G70 seems like a great alternative for the 3 series. I don't own one so I wouldn't know if it's more reliable or not.

      @japanwatchconnection Don't drive a Toyota and I never will.
      BMW has had sub par reliability for quite sometime.
      Replaced my last BMW with a Porsche Macan that has been trouble free.

    This is a funny review. If I want to touch screens I use my iPhone or iPad. When I get into a car it is because I have to go to work, or get food, or some other reason. How does this t do that dependably? They are losing it big time

    Cliff you hit it on the head! So much tech and much of it gimmicky. Guarenteed to fail prematurely and cost way too much to fix. True driver's car lies in the Genesis G70
