    i was so intrigued when i saw protein bond in the thumbnail, but your explanation made so much sense. i love protein bond for doing acrylics, but ive never used japanese gels before so im glad to know if i ever try them, protein bond is not the primer for the job!!!

    9:52 the pretty thick gels like gelly fit, do those work well for nail art

      YES!! Thicker gels are usually good for nail art because its very opaque and you won't have to do double layers. 😊😊.

    Tfs! I really appreciate this type of video. Whenever possible, I like to know basics of a brand before I make a purchase. I, too, am not a fan of thick colour gels. I'm sad about Fiote and JellyFit because the bottles are super cute.

      😂 I know right? I have it in my clear acrylic drawers, always thinking that I might use it one of these days.... but I don't. 😅

    I have used those baby metal gels from enail couture and yes they are garbage. When I top coated it(with their top coat) it turned a weird color. And yea they chip. Such a waste of money. But the other brands you have (Japanese gels) I haven’t tried. Except the vetro which I liked. But also CND gels are really bad.

    What do you think about Tiny, First street, and ho ho lee?

    • @pinkpineapplenails

      I haven’t tired Tiny and Ho ho Lee yet so I don’t know the feel of them. I actually like First street, feels lighter than Fgel. But I would have to test more colors. 😊😊

    So what do you ise for lifting for example dgel clear gel pump?

    • @pinkpineapplenails
      @pinkpineapplenails  Před rokem

      If you are having lifting issues with dgel clear gel, I would use a little bit of primer on the area that lifts the most. Make sure that you are using primers that are compatible with gels. I like to use Ugly Duckling primer but my 2nd go to would be Apres ( a bit more accessible.)
