Have you tried excel builder from kokoist? That’s a builder gel for long extensions

Do you use the Leafgel Cuticle Remove as a prep step before. Gel application? I’m so intrigued by this product but not sure if it will affect gel longevity

Leafgel Cuticle Remover is really good, it softens the cuticle really fast. But I won't repurchase this product because for the price of the little bottle your better off with BlueCross cuticle remover. I do recommend that if you use any type of cuticle remover-that you make sure to clean your nails with alcohol before applying any gels.

Thank You! I also currently uses the blue cross. I recently learned of Kokoist and Japanese builder gel and not sure should I use the cuticle remover during the cuticle clean part (after the dry manicure prep part).

Thanks for this super helpful video! I just received my first Kokoist order with the essentials and a few color gels. I wish I ordered the platinum bond duo after watching this. Which Kokoist brush(es) do you recommend for potted gel base and color gel application?

I would recommend a flat round brush for colors and a flat "square" brush for potted base, top, and structure gels. 😊

What gel product do u recommend to use as a “buffer” layer between the base and color so that later I can just file partially into that layer when removing my nails (instead of soak off)?
Would any clear gel suffice?

Yes if you're looking for a buffer gel between base and color than I any clear gel would work. But one that has a medium viscosity to it so so when you file the color off it's not thin - even if you over file. 😊
