Lauri, if given the green light to shoot in offense, is a guy that could average 30 ppg with good stats. The crazy thing is that offense wise he has not reached his full potential.
I also thought the same of Lauri for awhile now. He is arguably the best dunk/3 point player ever.

I love your angle for Lauri's game.
I find far too many videos where the focus is on Lauri not demanding the ball enough, etc.
Lauri is a team player and of course he takes plays made for him, but he doesn't need the ball most of the time to make his mark on the game.
I know that Mark Cuban wants Lauri to join Dallas. 4-5 years ago Mark was in Finland to meet Lauri’s manager.

Thunder should have sent 5 picks weeks ago. They can't add 3 first rounders to the team this year and they have young players they will have to let go after the season. Bring back Olynyk or John Collins with him for some size as well

love this video man i love lauri so much since arizona in college ongod. hes way better than lavine but somehow they kept his ass and not the goat KD 2.0 but he's actually fast and jumps high. Lauri takes great shots too, once i saw him doing pick n pops for 3s before he came to the league i knew hed be a star on god. Just subbed and liked the video.

@@theetruth8626 the thunder's offense is substantially better when giddey is off the court and he's been benched for large stretches in multiple 4th quarters this season because of his inability to space the floor or create anything in the halfcourt when games slow down in the 4th. Based on the last season and a half the 3 highest paid players on the thunder in the next 5 years will likely be shai, chet and jalen williams and giddey will likely be on a different team.

I think the Jazz should build the team around him. I'm not too convinced that they'll trade him. I think they may be doing it for the hype, because we haven't seen someone like Lauri Improve so much over one season. Also I'd be so sad to lose Lauri so....

Me too. When I was watching Chicago Bulls games Lauri was not featured enough in the offense and also Lavine was never passing him the ball. Since then I felt the Bulls had to invest on him and not on Lavine.

He has said multiple times that he wants to stay in Utah, so he will extend or sign new contract there if it makes any sense monetarily 🙂

Probably true for many. When Lauri was trying to negotiate with Chicago and they offered him lower contract (than the one he finally got with Cavs) he said in an interview with Finnish podcast (or some other Finnish source, I don't remember exactly) that he doesn't really need more money but that he wants bigger contract because it shows his value in NBA. Bigger the contract, better player you must be by leagues logic. So I think his thought process is a bit different than an average US players, who mostly just want as much money as possible.
Also Lauri would never trash the place he lives but he has been many times on record saying that he likes the fact that Utah has more nature and is happy to be out of the big city like Chicago. He has said that Utahs nature and weather reminds him of back home in Finland (even if winter is a bit milder in Utah).
If you want to believe that's all act, feel free. As a Finn, I must say though that that's not how we are built 🙂

To me, a TRUE SUPERSTAR in the NBA plays well on both ends of the floor... So how is his defense??? Is he a liability or above an average defender??? And with his height how is his rebounding skills??? I am so sick and tired of just focusing on someone's offensive game because in the later rounds of the playoffs, you need at least some defensive skills!!!
