- The Edmonton Oilers re-upped Adam Henrique on July 1 to a two-year, $6 million deal after acquiring the veteran forward at the trade deadline. Henrique collected six points through 15 playoff games as the Oilers fell just short of the Stanley Cup. Henrique met with the media to discuss his decision to re-sign with the Oilers.

For Adam Henrique, it's an opportunity for him and the Oilers to get it done. What do YOU think? Will the Oilers hoist the Stanley Cup next season?
Gonna be hard to win the cup after draisaitl gets traded lmfao.
@@stentorofsparta3576cope bro. You wish whatever pathetic team u cheer for was in a position that we are
@@stentorofsparta3576the only person that got traded is you in your birth
@@deutschlanddangler2983 the position of having no cups in decades? No I’m good with the position I’m in which is cheering for a team that’s actually won in the millennium & isn’t just all talk.
@@nishankharel4842 you’re so triggered lmfao.
Honestly it was one of the best days the Oilers have had in Free Agency yesterday.
Just need to send N25 to Anaheim.....
Rico left money on the table to win with the oil, love it!
Edmonton loves Adam Henrique, so glad he and his family decided to come back and finish what they started 💪
I am glad to have Adam on our team. I love his family theme
THANK YOU for staying let's go get that Cup
Wow this team is deep! Some great signings.
Seems like a great dude, thoughtful and insightful. That third line was awesome in the playoffs! Welcome back Adam!
All respect to the family guy obviously wants to be back while making the sacrifice which needs to be a family decision. True sportsmanship and family first written all over.
I want the season to start tomorrow!
We love you in Oil country Rico!!! ❤🎉
How Greattttttt Super happy you are back Rico !!! A healthier team and hopefully home ice advantage plus Arvidsson and Skinner and another D change or two and We Should HOIST that CUP Baby !!! ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Awesome time to be an oiler fan. Got to give Jackson credit for creating some sunshine after a very dark day in Edmonton just a week ago!
The fire burns deep in Adam
Hooray for Henrique’s wife. I dare say the Lauren Pronger curse has dissipated.
What an absolute class act. I'm delighted to have him on our team. Can't wait to see this guy hoist the cup as an Oiler!!!
I honestly thought rico was going to leave not because he didnt enjoy it here .. but he wanted to go back to his family because they mean so much to him ... but for him to put that aside and sign a two year bargain deal ... this is truly uncharted territory for Edmonton fans ❤❤❤
We love you Rico
The depth is real on this team. Easily best in the league.
I’m guessing his decision was based on other teams not making him an offer lol.
What ever helps you cope lmao
@@Skynertia cope with the oilers signing a 34 year old 3rd liner that went to free agency & realized he had to circle back? Yeah I think I’ll get by lmfao.
@@stentorofsparta3576 when was he suppose to re-sing, they just finished the season a week ago. Henrique could have got more money else where, easily 3.5-4 mil. He's 34 but hasn't slowed down and is still a great 2 way forward that could play top 6 on many teams. But you're right, since the oilers are stacked up front, he'll most likely play 3rd line minutes.
@@Alcan196 Henrique got waived by the garbage ducks a few years ago & you’re acting like he’s prime David Kreijci or something lol. I wonder why he signed on July 1 & not on June 30th. Could it be he went looking for offers that weren’t there? Delusional oilers fans are the best.
