  • The plaintiff hired the defendant to bartend at her wedding anniversary party. She claims he ran out of alcohol and other supplies and embarrassed her in front of her guests. She’s suing for a refund. The defendant argues he brought all the alcohol the plaintiff requested, but her guests drank a lot.

You don't need to be rich if you start two lawsuits after the party to claim back the money you spent. Anyone who wants to show off can do it. That is what has happened here. One side is lying and I think it is the plaintiffs. Notice how they said he didn't get his favourite drink and then was later forced to admit that he actually had three or four. If they will lie about that what else are they lying about. JM was being ridiculous when she said that there was testimony from three people. Those people being the plaintiff, her husband and the mother. Of course they are going to corroborate each other's stories.

I feel like he ran out of only the 2 that everyone drank like fish (Ciroc and Bulliet). Also when he started serving 30 minutes early, he should have told them that last call would be 30 minutes earlier. He had the right intentions but definitely should bring a liquor inventory sheet pre party and do one at the end. That would have told the true story. The fact that the defendant ran out of *CUPS* tells me he didn't plan properly. Even assuming he served water to 40 guests for 1/2 hour....there is no way he should've run out of plastic cups. And if the defendant really did have the Bulleit bourbon and Ciroc vodka then he would have just had it unloaded from the cargo van instead of immediately going to a store before searching the van. Remember, he claims he got there early....so both alcohols should've been available and pouring by party time.
