Just leased an IS250 in starfire pearl. Not as fast or sporty as my manual VW CC, but everything feels much more premium and high quality. I wouldn't buy it for $40k, but I got a fantastic 27 month lease. The car is so visually interesting, modern and edgy. I really like it. Looking forward to the next model with new engine!

Best I depth car review I have seen,I tryd the is 300,loved it,then bought 2017 facelift golf,I've had seven,it is horrible,no lock on glove box now no under seat draw,much mor road and wind noise,loads of noise from pumps under back seat,from under bonnet,sorry hood,the worst car I have ever had,even the ride is hard ,so after 7 months I'm trading for Lexus IS 300. The one I tested last year did 62 miles to the gallon,that's British gallons,so as good as diesel golf,the Lexus IS quiet sporty,ecenomicle,and not German ,viva brexit,

Toyota Camry XLE has just about all the features this Lexus has and its more cost effective. Vanity would dictate this purchase and get you less leg room.....
Its not slow at all, even at Eco mode. Have you drove one... And if you did, to what are you comparing this car ? Apple to Apple or apple to fast citrus german car that I used to own.

You "hold on" the gear stick when you accelerate? Did you ever try to hold the steering wheel?
I dont get why people keep saying this car is so slow, of course it's not a Lamborghini. I currently have VW Passat V6 and this car is faster.

Very slow car (RWD IS250 is barely tolerable) due to outdated, underpowered engine. Lexus needs to drop the NX's turbo 4 in this car pronto.
Then purchase the bigger engine..... This keeps the cost of the car down and it gives you more options as standard.
