    This lady is out here sourcing golden nuggets for us. So we can be informed and not walk blindly especially when it comes to finances. Glad I found your channel (I'm 21) and I'm already working on building my assets, learning how to manage money, and also retirement. I know it seems absurd for a twenty year old to think of retirement, but I have seen the state in which most people go into retirement. It's miserable, depending in your children and grandchildren to support you. And honestly in my later years, I want to enjoy the fruit of the labour of my youth. Do what I love, enjoy time with my family knowing I'm not burdening them in any way. It's fulfilling. And working with that mentality motivates me to push on.
    Great job Rina. You're changing a generation

    Great insights there but I'd rather have a provident fund or money market to help accumulate that and eventually invest in treasury bills/bonds. That way my family is protected even after my death as long as they are penned down as beneficiaries. Pension funds are also targeting the bills and bonds.

    Very interesting. Thanks. If you are interested in joining a pension scheme where do you start to look for one? What should you consider in comparing different pension plans on offer?

    Kindly advise if have changed jobs and therefore I have an old and current pension scheme with different insurance companies. Is it beneficial to merge both or have both amounts in different pension companies? Whereby one is not active and the other is active and wait for retirement. Also, advise upon, retirement will e both insurance companies pay me the monthly amount?

  • @the_computer_scientist

    Niko na kiulizo, If want to earn at least 60k monthly at retirement what I am supposed to contribute monthly if I start at 30yrs? and what is the best company to start pension contribution?

    • @cikumainone
      @cikumainone Před 3 lety +1

      Get the Dave Ramsey retirement calculator and input your figures

  • @the_computer_scientist

    If earn now 100k and at retirement, I get 50k is okay since my bills will be reduced i.e. no pension contribution, no school fees payment( getting kids early is important here and having education policy), etc
