      Gekko I saw this just once at the time and never even heard the song again, not even when I saw them at the first Madstock, but it stuck with me all these years and tonight it finally dawned on me to look it up on YT....and it's better than I ever thought it could be!
      Oh, and I'd totally forgotten Wilco was in the band at the time!

      @@markredmond2014Underrated just means that the public as a whole (and often the bulk of critics) fail to list Norman in the very upper echelons where he deserves to be rated. Thus he is underrated. It is not a slight, but actually a praise of his ability being greater than the masses realize.

      As a fan I rate them highly. But we are a dramatic minority.

    Saw them at Australia's premier musical auditorium.... Festival Hall in Melbourne.
    A memorable night ...such a tight band ..and Ian ...just being himself.

    @me1onhead I once saw him playing with Wilco J - when he broke a bass string mid tune. He carried on playing, using the remaining strings, while a roadie restrung the missing one. Amazing.
