They still have not gotten Movable Taskbar option for windows 11... (was normal option since xp era was removed in Windows11) if i want my Taskbar to be on side i wish it would not require to use 3rd party solution for it. (desktop Ultrawide screen)

Yeah, and I believe this is due to their widgets, which I don't even use or like.

I think Windows Backup wants you to use your Microsoft Account. It does in version 10.0.22621.

It's unexpected how long you can go on about the wallpaper bug 😂

Been out of the game for a while. Just picked up a nice gaming centric laptop that I also use for email/net. Is it still the usual players for firewall/anti virus? Than k you.

Depends on how long you've been out of the game, Mike. 🙂 I'm assuming you're running Windows 11 if you just picked it up, is that correct? If so, Microsoft's Defender actually ranks up there with the top endpoint AV solutions today. If you're looking for a third party product, BitDefender has a decent free offering. For ad-hoc scans, I would recommend Malware Bytes. If you are ever worried about a URL or file, I always recommend virustotal.com Hope that helps.

@@theit-unicorn1873 lol, my last good computer was running XP and ATI Radeon 9800 pro hahahaha. Had a few decent laptops after, but nothing relevant lol. Thank you for the info my friend. I’m the same as you mentioned with gaming, I’ll hit up GTA and HALO, but find I enjoy the classics more. Recently just started getting back into my Nomad and sega genesis. Again, thanks for the info and wasn’t sure if the usual players were top dog. I’ll look into your suggestions kind sir.

@@mikehawk120 Very cool stuff! HALO GTA, yup, that's my era 🙂Have you heard of RetroPi or Batocera? These are ways to run all your favorite classics.

@@theit-unicorn1873 I have messed with pie stuff, even my little had a computer class in 1st grade a few years ago and they were learning about raspberry pi hahaha, crazy. A huge difference from when we learning how to program a worm in 9th grade. I’m def into emulators, problem I’m having now I’d getting the new Atari to actually run. One of the reasons why I got back into computers to be honest, apparently there is a software issue that can be fixed by downloaded and rebooting a different version of what it runs, not sure. I’ll look into Batocera for sure.

Also Why does Win 11 need to look like apple product? (should there be Professional version of windows 11 Remove all the junk Graphical stuff of win 11 bring back usability and options of windows 7 leave us combination of Win7-8-vista-10 Taskbar toolbar settings menu with more settings than are needed and sell the edition as True Professional edition)
Why invent wheel again? Nothing against inventing new stuff but when inventing new stuff you should allways ask is this better than the old one how does this improve the end user experience and is it needed or is it just new skin on old cat? Too many times Microsoft is trying to invent new for sake of inventing new instead of actually improving user experience.
I really would want to get to ask MS designers on the OS side what the F they have been smoking when designed windows 11? And real reasons for changes that people still dont like.

Yeah, I agree. There should be a "pro" version that is stripped of all the crap. There are 3rd party solutions for that, but they should have something out of the box for businesses and professionals.

I don't see anything that attracts me. It's the opposite, these features are annoying, not transparent and coming from a company with an agenda. There are not going to recommend a game that is not on XBox ecosystem for example.
It's just silly, annoying and limiting. Good ridance...
