Also, last time I had asked what software you use to edit, because I wanted to tell you Adobe Premiere can auto synchronize audio between clips. So if you have the audio being recorded on a tascam or some other device, and if you are recording audio in the camera, once you import them into Premiere and put them both on the time line, you can select both the video and the audio clips, right click to bring up the various options, then choose "Synchronize", in the pop up box just click OK, and then it'll synchronize the audio and video clips. Of course, this can only be done, if there is audio on the video clips as well. I'm not sure if you're recording audio in your cameras too... but if you are, Premiere's synchronize is a godsend!!!! (I apologize if you already knew how to do this; I'm just trying to help. I was happy when I found out about the synchronize function.)
