Am I wrong? This was probably Rick's most professional interview ever. it was really amazing how he kept track of all topics and kept circling back. Not missing or leave hanging any previous topics. Again hyper-professional.
Just started it, but with a guest like Nick Swardson, I am kinda expecting absolute chaos.
He had a real professional one with Normand in a hotel that was good as well.
It was very very good. I enjoyed every second.
It's great because he can also riff, but if it goes in a different direction, he can steer the ship.
Um this is absolutely different. It’s like when I take my adhd medicine and act correctly vs chaotic.
I just adore Nick. Such a talent a down to earth guy. Will be at one of those spring dates for sure.

Never was a big fan of his movies but Swardson always murders on podcasts. Naturally funny and genuinely a good guy, even if he can't possibly be having as much fun as he seems to.

I connect deeply with Nick Swardson - His siblings leaving while we was in Junior High is something I really connect with. I drank and was a pretty crazy party lod through high school. My Mom and Dad got divorced as a kid which is something I could relate to.

I think what nick was talking about his friend mitch writing things down when he'd wake up in the middle of his night is maybe his dream book? I hear from alot of people that if you dream and you wake up in the middle of the night than to write down your dreams so that you dont forget them. Especially because when you wake up in the morning, your brain could have experienced hundreds of different dreams and they are all wiped from your memory all of a sudden. And writing your dreams down helps you think back into your dream and can help you come back into the state of mind that your brain was in while you were unconscious.
That's what came to my mind when I heard him talk about his friend and writing something down when he'd wake up in the middle of the night

I almost treat comedy like music, you find something that's your favorite until you find something better. One day you sort of settle into what your favorite is going to be for most of your life. I saw a set of you speaking gibberish and cried laughing. Your style isn't easy to describe to the passive comedy fan but your cadence and timing has quickly become my favorite. I have tickets to see nick on the 27 of dec (tomorrow!!) Soooo excited!! Im taking my son for his 21st bday 🙂which was just this last Tuesday (24th). Also took my daughter to see him two years ago with spade, sandler and schneider. He was so freaking funny i about pissed myself!! Going to a drive thru with drunk friends...caaa. lmfao every time!! It's interesting to see how different guests that are insanely hilarious in their craft act so completely different in this format. Like, this wasn't all that funny at all, but both of these dudes are some of the funniest out there. Different interpersonal styles for sure.
