My little Lily graduated kindergarten this year. I feel your sadness of how fast they grow up! 😭 I have been shedding many tears and really share the futile wish to slow down time.
🥲🥹🥹 it’s the best and the worst at the same time LOL. We are a mess.
I appreciate so much your feelings about slowing down and forming deep memories with your children.
💖💖💖 don’t want to miss a thing.
Love your video. The kits looks beautiful. The Village scene one especially.
Thank you for sharing so much of your kit progress! I love seeing how things work up "in real life." Hooray for Amira! What an exciting time for her (and for you - good job, Mama!). I hope you're having a great week. Happy stitching 💜
Thank you ☺️
Enjoyed the video. Thank you for sharing. Grab all the time with your precious children! ❤
Happy birthday Sarah! ☺️
Enjoy you ‘first’ summer because it does go so fast. I can’t believe I blinked and my boys are grown and one is on the other side of the world the last 3 years (Go Navy!). My boys might remember some of the things they were bought but they definitely remember the memories we made and time spent together is never wasted. Happy Stitching and Happy Memory Making!
Yes yes yes! 🙌🏻 living in the moment every moment these days.
Love the smalls. As for finishing, remember you can put a couple of fancy straight pins in & give as table gifts (your own personal pincushion) at your next retreat. I have a basket in the shape of a tray & literally have 1/2 dozen little pincushions in them. When someone sees something they really like, I give it to them. That's my suggestion. Happy stitching & love your stitching. (& yes, you do have tons of time left) -- I started stitching (& crocheting, knitting, embroidery, etc) around 10 years old & am now going on 76. (by fancy straight pins, those straight pins that have a colored metallic ball on the end).
Thank you for the tip! I love the idea of a basket of those little pillows. So cute. 💕💖
Loving Your journey through KITS……Legacy Gifts are so forever…..the sock yarn from Auntie is such a striking Blue…..your Son is Absolutely Gorgeous …..Megan Dear…….Give Always First to Your Family……have no regrets……
Thank you so much, Sherry. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Happy stitching my dear friend .
That Strawberry Hill pattern is soooooo cute!❤
I find that handwashing Wichelt fabric in cold water and Woolite (or something similar) does wonders in removing much of the stiffness. Then iron it, and it is a different fabric to handle.
Thank you so much for the tip! Totally going to try that.
Love your kit assessment. It will be very helpful for a lot of people besides giving you lots of fun stitching. Regarding pillows/pears and that sort of thing, I would suggest finding a big bowl made of a material that you like. I prefer beautiful wood but you might prefer a basket or ceramic bowl or something else. Any shape that you like will do. You can change the decor or even use it only during one or 2 seasons to hold your smalls. It also is easy to scoop out of the way when little hands reach for pretty goodies. 😉. I agree with you about Katie and her channel. It is good to hear the joy in your voice. Keep loving that family of yours. ❤
Thank you so much! I love this idea of the bowl I’ll have to find a spot up high enough so Amira doesn’t try to take the whole thing LOL. Happy stitching. 💕
Love all your projects,so many beautiful kits I might have to look for some myself, your time with your family is precious enjoy them while they are young time goes so fast, and the love she has for her grandmother is adorable ❤
We just visited my mom yesterday and we get to the car and she says ya know mom next time you can just drop me off. You don’t have to stay and talk. 🤣💖🤣
Hi! Great finishes! Thank you for sharing! Yes! Children grow so fast and in a blink of an eye they are going to college. 🥰 cherish the moments! Thank you for sharing! Happy Stitching!
Thank you Tami! 💖🥹
Enjoy those kiddos while you can! Your stitching is great, but they are truly awesome and the memories will continue till they are on their own!
💖 thank you ☺️
The little bees in Singing Robins are so cute! 🥹 Also love the lilac pattern, it’s beautiful!!
I’m obsessed 🤩 😆 they are just so cute!!
❤❤❤
Hi there…love your videos!! I wanted to mention that Quaker Seasons of Friendship (I’m stitching this one too) is actually designed by one of the owners of dyeing to stitch-Pat Ryan. Pat and Ann are the two owners and they also own R&R Reproductions fabrics. They’ve been in the industry and in Va Beach a long time so you are in good hands there. Also, I love your singing robins project. It’s beautiful!
Your strawberry hill farm is gorgeous! And so tiny! I have got to try 20 count. You have an amazing eye for pulling your own floss. What a wonderful momma you are. Soak it up.
Thank you 😊 I am so happy with that conversion and you definitely have to try 20ct it is amazing!
The hand dyed Blue turned out so pretty on your first small you show🇺🇸🇺🇸 Happy stitching from Canada ❤❤
Thank you so much! ☺️
Some people keep their small pillows in a basket or maybe a dough bowl. I sometimes cluster them around the base of a seasonal vase or artwork.
Congrats on the dyeing. I just spent some time doing that but used natural food products-don’t recommend this method as it fades or washes out completely. :(
Strawberry Hill looks so fun to stitch
Such a cute one 😍
Cute pillow finish. Putting it on your shelf for display is a great idea. I have mine in a dough bowl with some other small seasonal pillows.
I think I might do something similar. A little dish to put them in of some sort.
Congrats to Lil girl .and handsome lil man ..enjoy them while u can cause they do grow so fast ..hugs love all the projects
Thank you so much! 💖 it’s the best
Hi! Just found your Flosstube channel today and really enjoyed viewing your WIPS. It will be interesting to see how you like and enjoy those different kits. Enjoy your Stitchy week ahead! Cheers! 👋🧑🏻🦰🇨🇦
Thank you for watching! Happy stitching, friend.
I've had widow frog on my radar. Xoxo
Hi, Megan! All those kits you’re working on are so gorgeous. And I love your sentiments about your finished pieces going to a thrift store if they are not your family’s style. You’re making wonderful progress on them.
Happy birthday to Daniel! 🎉🎈
By the way, you are a wonderful mom!! It was so sweet to hear about Amira…love it. ♥️♥️♥️ Have a great summer with your family . Much love,
Meline
Thank you so much, Meline! Hope you’re having a fabulous weekend. And I hope the weather is better for you today than it is for me. Dumping down rain 🤣💖. Poor Amira can’t even enjoy the first day of summer vacation! Lots of love to you my friend. Stay well. 💖💖💖💖
@@TheSeattleStitcher Thank you my sweet friend ☺️. I am having a chill weekend, and the weather is hot but good. Tell Amira I am praying for wonderful weather for tomorrow so she can go swimming! ☀️🕶️👒
Good morning a day later! 😂 got my cup of coffee and jar of water and am settling in to stitch and watch the next 45mins (or 3 hrs depends on kids 😂) ❤
lol! Don’t you love that. It’s always depending on the kids 🤣💖
Just found your channel and am loving seeing what you’re stitching! Totally agree about pulling your cross stitch away from your eyes to see the full picture better. I always give myself a ‘3 foot’ rule as I know nobody will be closely inspecting my stitches (hopefully lol). Love seeing all the kits. Having not completed one myself, I am looking forward to your comparison video!
Thank you so much ☺️. I am totally living by this rule now LOL 3ft or shush 🤣. Sometimes I need to remind myself that no one will ever notice the things I do. I have so few stitchers in my real every day life I doubt anyone would know if I messed something up even.
I forget that the internet is so large.. I found you at the same time as Burns stitches and tattooed stitcher.. love you all, it never occurred to me that you wouldn't have seen them before 😅. Internet world.
I swear I am always stumbling upon new flosstubers! I need to get better at saying who I’ve been watching lol. I always forget to mention it by the time I sit down to film. 🤣🫶🏻💕
@TheSeattleStitcher my stitchy friends from Fandom have been trying to get me to film.. I've tried then got nervous and stop after a few 😅. One day.
Loving your kits! 😮❤❤
Thank you ☺️
I'm not into pillows either however my plan is to stitch a number of seasonal ornaments and little pillows to display in a large antique glass candy jar I have or a pedistal vase with a decorative lid. Containing them all into one place.
Such a cute idea!!
Thank you so much for all of your support, means a lot 🥹💞 can’t wait to start on lilacs! Also yay to Merejka! My favorite kits by far everything from easy to read pattern, floss, fabric - you going to love it! ( I hope 😅) also yay to changing fabric on that one I think it will look beautiful!!!
I absolutely cannot wait to start the lilacs it’s gorgeous. Definitely want to swap out the fabric on that other kit or possibly dye the Aida to a soft brown. We’ll see how that goes 🤣.
You should give Riolis kits a try you might like them. The thread is a wool acrylic blend so it can be a tad annoying especially when it wants you to use 4 threads. I don’t mind the different thread cuz I like how full it makes my stitches look and it’s nice to switch up fiber choices and stitch something different.

All of those sound so beautiful oh man. Don’t tempt me! Hahaha 😆 💖
Hello 🧵🪡🫡😎from TeXaS ☀️
I love Katie's channel! I just recently found her! Also, glad I just found you. I am definitely going to be going on a little magic needle hunt now because that's totally new to me and yours are so pretty! There goes my budget! 🤣
Haha! I am obsessed with definitely loving them. Good charts but a little weird how they are all on one HUGE page. 😆 I don’t mind.
Great Video! Could you share your colors on your strawberry 🍓 hill chart. Looks like my blue house. Thank you , your family is beautiful ❤

Random question, do you happen to remember what issue of Just Cross stitch the pattern of the street with the houses is from? It's on fabric you dyed yourself.... I'm sorry I wish I could remember what is named. Thank you in advance, and if not it's totally fine.
It’s actually been so long that the tiny modernist released it as a single pattern. You can get it as a pdf from her directly. I think the name may be different when it was in the magazine it was called ode to autumn so check out their site directly 🥰💖. I think they might have an Etsy shop.

Respectfully, what the heck is this comment even trying to say. You okay?
