Playing cards do work well as floss drops! I've used "minature" playing cards that were souvenirs of our trip to Lake Tahoe. Perfect!

@@magnolianana1552 I loooove this hoop! It keeps my fabric drum tight. I use it bother ways but depend where I sit that’s decides the direction of the hoop leg. 😊

Your Mary is just lovely, the expression on her face is amazing. The simplicity of it makes it even more beautiful.
I also use one of those "sit upon" type hoops, only i do sit on mine. I use it with a straight office chair that rolls, and it is by far my most comfortable way to stitch. It allows me to sit upright with good posture and use two-handed stitching. I've been able to avoid a great deal of neck and wrist strain. I don't do very much beading, but when i do, i will stitch the whole piece with the hoop, and then put it on scroll bars for any beading, couching or french knots. The stand i have for my scroll bars isn't as comfortable to use as the sit upon, but I can deal with it for those elements.
