that’s great man that it helped. You shouldn’t ever feel like you hate yourself. You are the one person in your life that you know best which means you are the only one who knows EXACTLY what you need to make yourself feel better. It’s just about DOING it. I’m not trying to act like a professional because I am not. I am VERY flawed so i’m talking from life experience and sometimes i’m not happy about decisions I make but I know who I am and i know as long as I wake up in the morning it’s not TOO late. As a Dentist, I laughed pretty hard at the Doctor and Dentist part 😂.. It was sad and hilarious at the same time because it would be so much easier to gain a patient's trust if a Dentist would just explain to his/her patient in 5 to 10 mins why a certain procedure needs to be done..
A hundred + years ago “asds” (society of dental surgery) , was eliminated/replaced by the “ada” . Eliminated because it was trying to save people from having mercury fillings planted in their teeth (there were better compounds at the time) . Asds wanted every ds to sign a pledge to never use poisonous mercury amalgams . The big money was behind mercury.
But for real, are you crocheting down there?! I get 27 shots, hear a drill, get scraped, someone’s in the corner playing with putty; what’s really going on?
My dentist said I have plenty of cavities which I never took care of and it's been over 10 years and those teeth still haven't caused me trouble so yeah it is kindof weird. I mean, if I can live w something over 10 years more and still get the same procedure if it ever does happen, then they should include tht info lol
This is my go-to for a good laugh. I’ve watched this an embarrassing number of times. So smart, witty…pure comedic genius!

The three best specials this year have been from Mark Normand, Sam Morril, and now Joe List, and they were all free on youtube, crazy. This is too good to not have been produced by some major platform, but I hope this is a huge success for him regardless. He absolutely deserves it.

I’ve been watching stand up my entire life, relying on it for joy and happiness when life gets tough. I like to think I appreciate excellence in what I consume more deeply than most, and my standards for comedy feel high to me. You are one of the very best comics to me and for me. Just reliable, relatable, …still waiting for the big laughs not to get pulled out of me involuntarily after watching the same shows online again and again and again. Like a devastating scorer in sports, I know what’s coming and cannot stop you from doing what you want. The laughs, the concepts, the pace, are unstoppable. Sometimes, you need to be in a certain mood to savour the nuance of a Carlin or Chapelle or Voltaire. I like meat and potatoes excellence like Gaffigan or Dangerfield to kind of return to and rely on. You are my number 1 go to - in that vein. Like wanting your very favorite beer instead of an incredible bottle of delicious wine on an everyday basis. I’d love to know why I don’t see you everywhere but if Jo Koy can produce his own special and get a call before the shoot from Netflix saying, “we do not want this, just making sure you know” then… ? Like truly great food - the flavour is there. I’m going to get back to watching this for umpteenth time and being happy. Thank you Joe List.

Some comics have an hour special and it's like, 10 or so 5-6 minute stories with some sprinkled in crowd work. Joe just came out of the gate with literally a hundred 30 second punch lines and 6 one minute funny stories. Which is great because it was solid material, and very well put together. Everything flowed nicely from joke to joke. Great show, Joe List. Congrats, bro. You made it.

Joe, you’re my new fave comedian. Thanks for the rationalization for continuing to drink Coke. I never would have heard of you if I hadn’t seen the movie Fourth of July, and now I’m a huge fan. I saw the premiere at the Beacon and was blown away by how you’d just let other people talk, and then every once in a while just unleash a comedy gem. The movie itself was so unexpectedly great. It made me cry (it is sad) and I recommend it to fans of Joe!

No one felt indifferent. Everytime he thought the crowd was against him, they were just quiet and eagerly waiting for the next joke lol joke after joke, 2, 3 and 4 punchlines on one setup, multiple callbacks, and I never knew where the joke was going. Genius comedy. This is hands down, the best special I've seen in years!
