- My Monster Energy sponsorship has ended! After 13 years I am no longer part of the monster team so I ride wet MTB trails and my Canyon Strive ON electric bike and session my wing foil before telling you what happened!
After 13 years my Monster Energy contract has ended as agreed and there are no hard feelings between both of us. I will now be pushing my own brands more than ever and there is some sick stuff in the pipeline that you will hear about when it happens! In todays video I head out on my Canyon Strive ON electric bike and ride some insanely wet local MTB trails with the local shredders before heading to the beach and having a wing foil session. What do you think about the news?

Sam, you are seriously such a pillar in the mtb community. Not many pros would take the time to ride with local kids and document it out of pure enjoyment of the sport and out of sharing the enjoyment of the sport. It's inspirational.

As someone who was once a child, riding with the big guys (pros) is such a big deal. Sam is the real deal. Always smiling, filming the locals, and keeping it clean. Huge props to this guy.

Honestly advertising drinks to kids who cant even buy them due to just how unhealthy they are isnt the best way for a person to live their lives. Sam has made a few quid out of biking and doesnt need it 💪🙏

I don’t know your exact setup, but it might give you more control on the front foot if you move the mast a little bit more forward. In the end personal preference but it helped me a lot.

Ah man, end of an Era but such a wild ride awaits you still. Seeing how you were such a positive influence to those kids really made my day, and reminds me of how Joe Schwartz, Robbie Bourdon, Byron Grey, and so many others were to me when I was a kid. It's cool when the pros sesh with you or go for a ride, and makes so many stick to biking. So happy to see athletes like you succeeding!
It's incredible to see your bike control Sam. 99% of people watching this most definitely including myself would have panic breaked at the first berm and fly off into a tree. watching you ride in such conditions is just magic.

Such a great business role model/ ambassador of the sport. Wearing helmets that you helped design, for riders. Keeping the next generation pumped up by allowing them to join you in your videos.
