Bought one last year, runs great, looses a few seconds every month or so. What I don´t like is the indentations on the watch band, they dig into the wrist if tighten too tight, would have liked a smooth band on it. Others wise a great watch on par with the G-Shock series at a great price.

I bought a watch that has a dark display. So far it works flawlessly and is great for everyday use.
However, I think that digital watches with bright displays are much more practical in situations where the light is reduced because the content on the display is more visible, so you don't have to use the watch's light.
No matter which variant you choose, you won't have a problem, because the price/quality ratio is, in my opinion, optimal.

That was a 5 hour countdown. The design is a little different so it can be confusing at first.

Bought one(ae1500) recently at Walmart, black version.
Pros -Crisp large dial
-Large push buttons
-10 year Batt
-Big bang for the buck!
Cons- none
What I would of like,
Steel Casio stamped buckle,that would of been a nice compliment to the stainless steel pushers,I think I will remove the plastic buckle and put a metal one on.😉it's easy enough for an old 52 year old fart like me😁

My first Casio I bought about two years after they came out,it look like a 5600 with the bar protectors on the face,wish I still had it.
Owned several over the years👍.It can be very addictive collecting watches😉😁,I own several different ones about 10 are Casio,46 watches in total!
June 68’ guy-I’ll add the countdown timer as a pro-usually only G-shocks come with countdown timers, which imo are much more useful than a stopwatch. I can actually read the large display at night without glasses, unlike my F-91wh. I have the tan version also which I think really stands out over the standard black. 🔥

Sure, is acrylic, even your clothes are going to scratch it.
