- The lovely Michael Petherick is lured away from the Chateau de la Basmaignee for a holiday at the Chateau of Lalande, and we celebrate his return with an epic Thanksgiving Feast! All of the chateau inhabitants are busy shopping, decorating and cooking, as we turn Lalande into an autumnal wonderland, with a lot of laughter along the way.

I can tell you why you and this vlog is so popular, Stephanie - because you are *genuine* - you always communicate with your viewers as if you are genuinely interested in sharing your struggles and discoveries with us, and impart those discoveries - be they 'goodies' from the charity shops or some gems of information about the history of Lalande (or other places you are visiting ) - with a very sincere desire to share your good fortune and joi de vivre with us all - and it certainly 'rubs off' on me!
I found the previous video - you and Michael preparing the table, actually VERY warm and touching, when you both shared what Thanksgiving means to you both - you both expressed deep, 'old fashioned' values about family and community which, I think, ring very true to many of us viewers here in this sometimes brittle, uncaring, selfish world of ours. You are good 'uns, dear woman (and men!) - twice weekly starlights twinkling out to us all - for which, MUCH thanks.
I totally agree so well said! I walk away feeling happier after i watch these vids! So much negativity in the world but this is an escape and its stephanie and the others that make it what it is 🤗💓

They are! I have been using snippets of them to showcase different ideas to my senior students. I like to show teenage girls what a happy positive influence Stephanie is - beautiful woman living her dream and being an inspiration to others. I used the thanksgiving table decoration vlog to show the year 10's a possible way they could set a table up for the end of year celebration. Proud to claim this addiction.
@@lianegordon971 Excellent idea. I love her enthusiasm and joy of life. Even without a chateau everyone can fulfill a dream if they are willing to work at it. I fulfilled mine. It took many years and I certainly didn't sit down and wait for it to happen. Some people unfortunately have extremely bad luck in their lives ( some with horrific memories)and frequently I think of them and suffer for them. If only one of them is reading this, please don't despair, because when you are at your lowest, things can only get better !! For the majority of us I firmly believe that dreams can come true.....mine did.

I must agree with the person who commented on your 'genuine' nature. When I first watched these vlogs I thought 'no one is that nice and genuine' then a couple of vlogs later I just knew that Stephanie IS a true NICE genuine person !! Must be because she is called Stephanie !!!!
Praying Michael Pethrick can return soon! He is such a positive and bright presence. So many of the team are positive and, just that, team players. Mummy, Percy, Michael Potts, Ruth, David, Oliver, Nic, though he IS elusive, Maddie, Antoine, 😊 are all very missed! Nati, Selmar,, Marie, Jennifer, and Dan the man, all work beautifully together with so much friendly humour. It was lovely to see the video Richard edited for your 200th recently.. Lovely to see you warmed by their love. You are in my thoughts for healing soon. I’m sure the doctor doesn’t mind your being on your laptop, if you are comfortable and resting.

That table was beautiful and the food looked scrumptious. Loved the hand painted "Thenkful" cards by Michael. I could barely make pancakes and bacon this morning without burning something, so your feast was amazing.

I am starting to watch past vlogs. I just loved this one. I feel all the love and connection.
Remember with the hedgehog some fresh foods also. chopped lettuce, apples, corn, safe nominal risk foods. Not sure what they eat or if there are unsafe foods like with dogs and cats, but they are wild animals and would forage for fresh foods in their natural healthy diets. So absolutely astonishing, I've never seen live hedgehogs before, but pictures of them abound because they are so cute and peaceful. Thank you for your kindnesses to so many of God's creatures big and small. Blessings!

Hello Everyone. Yes, you are very fortunate to live close to a Charity shop. I live in Madeira where I sure miss Charity shops. The Algarve when I lived there also
no Charity shops. I absolutely adore your Show. Ipretty old now, but I feel comfortable with young and older generations. Actually it’s New Year’s Eve,, and l can hear the local accordionist on his tour of the local area. Best love ❤️
