    Hi Man! Nice nice job. Which printer model did you use? I’m thinking of switching to no-resin printers, but I wanted advice for good results. Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹

      Hi!! I have two printer recommendations that I love. First is the Creality K1 Max. It's fast and gives great results. The second and most favorite is the Prusa XL. It's a dream machine. The prusa is also large enough to do full helmets in a single print and has been very reliable. Not to mention I get the best prints from the fleet out of that one as well. It's a bit expensive but you pay for quality.

    Hello love the video
    How well do your files work with smaller printers

      This file is from Galactic Armory and you'd have to purchase the file from them. It does fit well on smaller printers assuming your printer isn't a tiny one.

    This turned out great! Thanks for sharing your build. Galactic Armory is my go to for models because of the design and updates and tweaks to make them easy to work with IMO. How does that varnish compare to other matte clear coats, is it super runny like most or is it like their paint that goes on amazing and don't really worry about runs?

      Thanks! Yes, Galactic Armory is doing a superb job for the printing community. The varnish is my "go to" any time I need a clear coat. I love that brand and haven't found anything close since I started using it. The dry time is so fast and yes, barely any runs.

    That turned out looking great! I’m working on my first storm trooper helmet. What did you use for the lens material? Thank you 🙏

      I use a Hobart replacement face shield on all my visors. Shade 3 or 4 is always best.

    I truly wish I had the space to make tons of helmets
    My computer is FILLED with files from galactic armoury due to his patreon and I can’t wait to make some of them

      Galactic Armory has some of the best files out there. I'm the same way, my wish list is growing faster than I can print!

    Love that helmet, great job. May I ask what UV resin you use?

    • @coz3d
      @coz3d  Před 4 měsíci

      I am currently using Sunlu standard UV resin.

    If you want to weather a helmet put it on and go somewhere you would likely hit your head on something. A crawl space is usually perfect and bang and scrape the helmet on as many things as you can. It looks real because it is 😉
